Friendly & courteous staff. Food was excellent, especially the Bara Chirashi & salmon belly ikura.

Lovely casual dining place with white, airy interior. Super fresh, delicious Japanese seafood dons and fusion food... don't miss the Truffle Mentaio Bruschetta!

Relatively fresh on the scene cafe located at Rangoon Road, despite being the new kid on the block, the cafe was packed on the weekends and reservations are highly recommended. There were the usual cafe suspects around but the cafe leaned towards a menu of western food with japanese influences. We got a bunch of rice bowls on our visit there and the portions served were hearty and filling. The uji matcha latte we ordered was thick and not too intensely bitter although the sweet tooths can rest assured with the sugar syrup being served on the side. Don't expect to sit and linger at this place due to their popularity and quick turnaround time for dine in patrons though, unless you visit during its off peak hours. Otherwise expect hearty portions at relatively affordable prices for a cafe visit.

Food was decent with hits and misses. Mentaiko fries are surprisingly good. Chilli soft shell crab was on the sweeter side for me. Miso beef was meh. Interior looks good but we got a dimly lit corner due to full house.

It was pleasant but the shop was a little bit stuffy. Food was good and in a good portion. Maybe staff can wear a name tag or wear a apron or something, there were so many in black and wasn’t sure who was the staff on duty. Had to guess. Customer service can be improved.
