Place is small and retro interior with lots of oldies posters and gadgets. Food was not bad. Had budae jjigae and the taste was decent. Free boiled eggs were place on the tables for customers.

Nice interior and clean. Many varieties of Korean food. Beef spicy noodle is tasty. Beer is also on promotion when I went, value for money.

Portion of army stew was rather small, even though it states 2-3 paxs to share. Taste was fine but entire restaurant was short of manpower and service was kind of slow.

Daejon House serves rich and flavourful dishes to satisfy your Korean tastebuds. Their Groupon deal for a large sized Beef Budae Jjigae [$15] was truly a steal (originally worth $29.90). The tasty stew could comfortably be shared among 2 to 3 hungry eaters. Apart from the good food, their service is also great. However, the restaurant may be a little cramped as I had to stand for them to set up the stew and burner. Also, the place can get really packed which forces them into turning down walk-in customers. Do make a reservation instead through Quandoo to avoid disappointment. Another note is not to ring them up as they seldom answer calls from my experience. Overall, I would come back again for the food especially so if there are more great Groupon deals available in the future.

Authentic restaurant decoration, friendly staff, delicious food. We and my friend enjoyed ourselves there! We like the spicy army stew and the Korean sweet and sour pork.

We ordered the big army stew set with pancake and Mandu. The portion is enough for three of us. The food is yummy and price is reasonable. The owner provided very good services too!

Had Buddae Jiggae, the large portion. It was good. Kimchi was served on the side. The service was polite and friendly. A nice experience in general.

Nice place but Army stew was a tad too spicy. Not sure if will be back again. Location is convenient too. Will suggest to cut back on the chilli to suit local taste better.
