Food is ok but service is good. Worth to try!

Slow serving of food. Many orders being overlooked. The moment i walked in the restaurant i was welcomed by the oily stench which stayed onto my clothes and hair.

Was quite alright, value for money. But the place's ventilation is not good, quite smokey and warm. Sometimes they miss out orders as well. Otherwise, their wait staff are quite good.

Not value for money! Will not go again nor recommend my friends to go to this restaurant. Better food and presentation of food in other Japanese buffet restaurants. Service fair.

I like the ambiance of the restaurant, with an environment to suit to the food they serve. The food is, of course, exquisite. However, its strong flavor was slightly overpowering and the drinks could have more variety.

Not very fantastic, sashimi and sushi not really fresh. Too little staff to deal with the huge crowd, kind of disappointing.

Food wise the taste wasn't that wonderful for something that expensive. Kinda disappointed

The raw fish is fresh. The rest of the food is either too salty or fried too hard! Not worth the money paid for. Need to pay for drink and also desert. There are better Japanese food around. I will not go back again. Thank you.

I like the ala carte buffet at Shinkei because the food is served fresh and hot (for those hot food). Service is quite good and they clear the plates promptly. I wish they could have some dessert items or fruits to complete the meal.

The buffet was not bad in general! The curry pork yakitori was interesting.

Too bad drinks are not inclusive. And my 11yo child got to pay adult price.

Food is fresh but place a bit dark. N as it gets to the peak hr, not enough manpower for a full house. Had to ask 3 times for our water refill.

Service personnel was friendly and tend to us in a quick and efficient manner. Food was served shortly after order was made.

This is the worst buffet i ever come across. Paying $47/pax for it, is totaly not worth. imagine i have to pay seperately for the drink ( Soft Drink ) $1++ for the green tea. The food are really in poor quality. i will not recommend my other associate to come again. My business partner is not comfortable with it. OMG !

Overall it was a good experience. The food was fresh and because we went in a big group, we were given the private room which was nice. Spent around $42/pax which I feel was a bit pricey considering the choices was not that wide. Hot and Cold green tea should be included instead of having to pay for it. Fast in serving the food and the waitress explained how to order the food well. Will return.

Service from the staff was prompt and friendly. As the food portions are small, it enables one to enjoy their wide selection and variety of food choice. Overall a great experience and their sashimi was yummy!

Aircon can be colder. Apart from that, everything is just great.

The food was good, as usual, and we were given surprise gifts because it was Christmas Day. What a pleasant surprise :)

Decent selection for the price. Food quality was pretty good. Might return again.

The waiting time is very long (more than 30mins). Understandably, it was close to Christmas so the restaurant was very full. However, the sashimi we ordered was very fishy and does not taste fresh. Their portions are small, very different from the images of the menu items. Some orders were not keyed into the system thus some items were not delivered to our table.

Love the food BUT find portion / serving TOOOOOOOOO SMALL.............. Would appreciate a LARGER PORTION would be very much better for diners in order to enjoy the food - Thanks
