About Bread Yard
More about the restaurant: Bread Yard
The genesis of this incredibly popular bakery and cafe by one-north MRT was on campus at the nearby Singapore University of Technology and Design several years ago. A few passionate foodies started making and selling artisan bread – using natural sourdough leavens, traditional flour-liquid roux and their own hands – that became so popular among students (and those beyond the university campus) that morphed into Bread Yard, one of the most impressive and busy cafes around the western reaches of Singapore. As well as their beautiful bread (the Hokkaido, available Monday-Saturday from 4pm onwards, is particularly sought-after), Bread Yard at 1 Fusionopolis Place dish up spectacular breakfast and lunch dishes as well as tasty coffee and exquisite desserts and sweet treats. The candied bacon pancakes and duck & orange lunch sandwich are strong favourites, but you really can’t go wrong whatever you take from this super talented Singapore spot.
