Bistro Du Vin - Shaw Centre

Second visit, this time waiting time was a lot longer between courses. Taste is ok but the duck was not as well prepared, leaving a strong scent. Dessert is ok, would still recommend for casual gatherings.

Went for the weekend set menu, pork chop was tender and moist. Overall portions are big and filling. Would recommend for weekend dates

The food was delicious (we had scallops, coq au vin, duck confit, souffle and apple tart) and the two lady servers were pretty efficient but harassed as they were the only 2 on duty during the lunch hour. the only drawback was the strong smell of fried food (from apparently 2/3F restaurants that were sent outside the building but penetrated into the bistro). The staff said they'd raised the issue with the building management but the latter couldn't do anything. A pity.

It's a great option for french cuisine in Singapore. They offer nice plates.

Philip, the director of the restaurant, always greeted us with a smile and remembered us each time we visited. Since 2011, we've dined at this restaurant and consistently enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere, high-quality food, and the exceptional personalities of the staff. We are also good friends with the head chef, Kenneth Tan. Although he wasn't there last night, the food standards remained impeccable. Bistro Du Vin holds a special place in our hearts.

Every dining experience we’ve ever had with Bistro du Vin has been nothing short of perfect! Authentic, unpretentious French food done with reliable, enjoyable precision every time. Foie gras is always done with a slightly different seasonal twist, duck confit with the crispest skin yet moistest meat, tasty steaks, fish done just right, etc. and to top it all off, the warmest hospitality even on busy public holidays! We threw my daughter a surprise 18th celebration there because of her fond memories made over the years and the team went out of their way to surprise her with a decorated birthday dessert. Highly recommended!

It’ s a cosy place with quite fast and good service. Service staff serving my table was very attentive. Place was almost fully booked and thus the noise level was quite high. I personally preferred the entrées to the main course.

It was my first time dining at Bistro Du Vin. My guest and I had a great experience! Flawless and friendly service, starting with smiling warm welcome, extended by the entire team throughout! Restaurant was busy but your team were seen to be extending quick and efficient service to all diners! I am retired after many years in service industry, so I like observing. Food was delicious, especially our duck confit, cooked to perfection with duck skin entirely crispy! Frog legs were tasty as well. Our desserts were not overly sweet and were delicious! Kudos to Chef and team! However, if I may, the French Onion soup tasted good but its consistency was a bit too thick for me. BIG STARS TO ENTIRE TEAM!

The waiter took the wrong order and we took it as we didn't want to wait any longer but it was not as nice as we thought. We have indicated it was for birthday celebration, no birthday wishes from the staff. The other dishes were quite nice.

I choose this place for a first date. My lunch partner was interested in trying some French classics and this place is great for that - they have a long a la carte menu with some of my favorites like coq au vin. Great service. Probably not only because of the food, we got married shortly afterward.

Returned to Bistro du Vin immediately upon return to Singapore. Been there many times, never regretted.

The food and service staff was great, the only minor gripe I had was how the tables were too close together so we were sandwiched on both sides by other couples, could hear all their conversations and ended up not having much privacy.
