Zaffron Kitchen - Star Vista

Our go-to North Indian restaurant almost on a weekly basis. Service is always excellent (they remember us from when we used to visit them at Westgate, and know my order by heart!). Love the butter chicken set lunch.

Went there for lunch (odd hours) on a weekday ; not really crowded Yummy naan and butter chicken , but just that its on a pricey side

At 12 noon, restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated immediately. Service was great - attentive and immediate, as usual. Always happy to come here for lunch.

I have been visiting Zaffron since they were located at Westgate. Now at StarVista, the quality of food and service have remained excellent. Love the lunch set and I always go for butter chicken. Not too spicy, and portion size is perfect.

Food was fresh. Chicken is tender. But certain food on menu were unavailable. Good to be there early to avoid long waiting time.

Nicely plated Indian cuisine. Butter chicken was creamy and delicious. Tandoori chicken was not too dry Attentive service.

One of our regular place to go when we have small gathering. Easier as it has vegetarian food.

Much better service than at East Coast branch where we had to Ask to be served. Here at StarVista, Waitress was nice &accommodating. Elderly waiter was kinda dour, but did provide service

Have eaten here several times already. The food is delicious; i love their butter chicken, briyani and dahi puri. They also have weekday lunch sets which I feel are pretty good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely come again.

Good food - slightly pricey for he quantity. Smaller outlet so the tables are a bit cramped. Favourite items on the menu are the wraps and burgers. Chaat tastes good too!

Love the dahi puri and butter chicken here! Set lunches are value for money and their portions just right. Not too crowded during lunch hour. And they’re able to accommodate large groups which is great.

Always my go-to place for a casual Indian dinner. I’m quite a fussy eater and I rarely eat Indian because I mostly only like tandoori, and boy does Zaffron mean business when they do tandoori. The meats are packed with flavor and always roasted perfectly with a magnificent char. Their breads are also so good. What could’ve been improved however, was the pace. We always seem to have to wait for a long time for the breads, and usually when we’re already halfway through or almost done with our Zaffron Tandoori Platter before it arrives. My friends shared the butter paneer and remarked that it was not very flavorful and the sauce was too chunky. I don’t eat most curries including that so I can’t attest, but the lamb rogan josh I had was pretty decent, though it certainly could use some extra flavor.

It is a good cost/benefit Indian restaurant. We had mixed appetizers which were quite good and butter chicken/cheese naan/rice - which were great. Drinks were the low light as almost all alcoholic drinks were not available, so we ended having margaritas. Restaurant is cozy, but air temperature was high.
