Yakitoris damn good especially the chicken tail. And the chicken porridge very good too!

Drinks are slightly pricey and normal but their yakitori is totally worth a try!

I love the yakitori and the vibe is great. Price point is also good. Would be an even better experience if there are enough wait staff. The service was slow and it's a but hard to get their attention for additional orders.

We had to wait 15 mins for our reservations as it was a busy Friday evening. Overall food is always on point so we had a nice night out.

Food and drinks were so so good!! Service was great as well. A little on the pricey side for the Sake but quality of it was good. Restaurant is small and can get noisy when bigger groups come. Reservations are difficult to get for evenings too but I will defo be back for the food!

One big group was speaking so loudly even before they got drunk. I could not hear my friends talking even with the same table. I had no choice but to ask the waiter to ask them to speak softer.

Very good yakitori, down side is the booking system where slots are at 2 hours and they are very strict about it even though you might not have enough and wanna spend more - times up and you gotta go!

This is my fourth times at Yatagarasu. The previous two times I went with my Japanese boss and hence this time, i wanna introduced to two of my local friends that like Sake and Yakitori. Unfortunately, today the service is really unbelievable. It was a Friday nite and they know it will be a busy nite. But they only have two male staffs. When most of the restaurants these days already using phone to self-ordered, this place still doing the old school way ordering by the staffs. First problem is things we ordered, it was not recorded the first round. So after dining there for an hour or so, we wanted to order more food and more drinks. Called one of them, he said he will come back. He never came, then tried to call another staff who is a Japanese, looked very impatient, said “later” and went out of the shop. He never came back to us also. So my friend said we will go somewhere else, and we will never go back to Yatagarasu again.

Popular place with dine in duration of 90 minutes. Can’t pinpoint a dish that i not like

First visit and no regrets. The chicken yakitori were all delicious especially the heart and fillet. One surprising item was the pork belly wrapped shitake and the shroom was just brilliant amazing. Excellent bite & flavour. Do order a salad to cut the grease (sesame sauce is a tad salty) and try their today’s specials. Love the place vibe and not the kitchen ventilation is not bad! 9/10 for me

Tamago with Roe - 8/10 A good starter to fill your tummy. The egg was soft, and the side of roe, spring onion, and radish perfectly flavored the eggs. It's not the best tamago as it lacks creaminess and sweetness, but it was good. 2. Chicken Skin Skewers - 10/10 Takes a while to come, so be sure to order more. The skin was crispy yet soft and juicy. The seasoning on it was perfectly salty. 3. Chicken Thigh Skewers - 10/10 Juicy and tender meat. They grilled it to perfection. 4.Wings - 10/10 The skin was nicely crispy and the meat was so tender and juicy. 5. Pork Belly Wrapped with Asparagus - 10/10 One of my favorites. The crunchiness from the asparagus pairs well with the crispy and juicy pork belly. 6. Pork Belly Wrapped with Enoki - 10/10 - The enoki mushroom absorbed the juice from the pork belly and seasoning, bursting into your mouth with a punch of flavors. 7. Pork Belly Wrapped with King Oyster - 9/10 It's delicious, but compared to the enoki mushroom, the king oyster does not add much to the skewers other than a more earthy taste. 8. Pork Belly Wrapped with Jalapeño and Cheese - 10/10 A popular skewer - who doesn't like melted cheese and pork belly? Not for sharing, you'll want to have one each. 9. Special - wagyu cubes - 10/10 the beef melts in your mouth and it's well seasoned. It's a must order when it's available on their special menu.

Grilled to perfection yakitori. Recommended if you are yakitori lover. Ambience made me feels like I am in Japan.

Think the standard of the yakitori dropped. It felt more authentic the first time I visited some years back. The store has now expanded to another shop unit. Service was attentive.
