Was still as good as remembered (from the previous visit)!! tried their oyakodon this time and it was really flavourful and moist - yet the rice was not soggy at all! Would recommend the skewers, especially chicken tail and shiso

Best yakitori place in Singapore! The food is so well seasoned and cooked, makes it worth the 1 month wait for booking. Manager was very engaging and chatted with us towards the end of the dinner to check in on us. Will definitely be back.

There are actually 2 branches of the same restaurant. When we turned up, got directed to the other branch along the same stretch. Food was above average. Some of the skewers (e.g. softbone) were overwhelmed with pepper taste. What impressed us the most was actually the oysters! Overall, the dining experience was still good. Worth the visit.

Awesome! Yakitori grilled to perfection!!! Yumzzzz too bad can only do 2 hours dining. If not we might just hog our seats till the restaurant closes for the night. 😁

I went on public holiday eve expected the restaurant its packed. Overall the grilled chicken or pork skewers were great with various drinks options available.

Enjoyed the service and some skewers were pretty good/ decent, whereas some were alright or not worth its price.

Izakaya atmosphere. Saba appetizer was strangely the best dish not the yakitori - yakitori generally far too salty - very heavy handed on the salt...

I have been gping to one Yakitori joint for the past 14 years until circumstsnces make me try a new restaurant . i went to Yatagarasu and find the Food and service was really good . For sure will go back again .

The food was good except the place was constantly Smokey due to the Yakitori grill. Perhaps they can consider a more powerful ventilator to reduce the smoke that constantly irritated our eyes. But the food was really good. Will b back!

Very hard to get a reservation on a weekend. Suggest to book earlier timings on weekends cuz they will run out of skewers!

Was here for dinner. Prompt service and really very good food! Must try their makimono. My favourite was the one with shiso leaf! Already booked my next visit.

One of the more authentic yakitori place I’ve been. Brings me back to Susukino where I frequent my favourite yakitori joints. They do not have a huge variety of yakitoris but the skewers were grilled to perfections. Soooo yummmmmmmmy

Love the food and ambiance. Reasonable price as well. However is mandatory to order a drink for each guest with no exceptions to kids under 12 years old.

First time visiting this place. Shocking I must say. We were seated at the bar counter and could see how the chef prepared the food. Appalled to see the chefs use the same teas spoon to stir food while cooking and testing the taste of food, and re use the same spoon again on another patrons dish. Totally unhygienic, spoon not washed after his saliva coated the spoon Me and other diners by the bar counter were looking at him cook and repeat action and he seems to think it’s fine. Secondly, this yakitori place sells hot green tea and with all alcohol etc, which all Japanese restaraunt don’t right? the hot green tea does not come with refilling , I can accept that it’s charged per cup. But to be charged $5.50 per cup of green tea. That’s Exorbitant pricing. Food wise, it’s normal, but all food more on the salty side, I feel this is the aim to sell more drinks. There are notices pasted all over the yakitori restaurant on the minimum criteria to order a drink, which I feel ordering of beer at $13 per pint is better than hot green tea at $5.50 per small cup. Overall I have been to nicer yakitori restaurant like Nanbantei in Far East. Should go there instead
