The Scholar Chinese Restaurant

It has always been a pleasant experience to dine in the Scholar.

We were late, but the restaurant was very accommodating. Overall , everyone had a great experience.

Everything was perfect and recommended you all !! Enjoy the good food!!

Good food and good service. And the special promotion on the Peking Duck is always appreciated.

It will be good if the restaurant invests in some new baby chairs. The ones currently in use either have torn vinyl seats or the screws were rusty.

Food was excellent this time. Ee Fu noodle was well cooked compared to our last visit few weeks ago. Restaurant was crowded but the service was above our expectation.

We entertained two guests. They were more than pleased with the food & excellent service. Only suggestion I have is that the dishes need not be Served all at once.

Wonder why cant we get a package of chilli for the package left over food that we couldn't finish it bec we had order too much and the last dish of prawn came very late ! We had finished everything preparing to leave the restaurant then the hard tasteless steam prawn arrived .

Excellent food and service as always. Dim sums are the best

The food was good but the servers need more training. One in particular was quite lacking. When she had to clear the dishes she didn't but cleared my dish before I could finish my food.

We ordered Beijing duck and a bowl of century egg porridge. These are our favourites and the best we have eaten. The service was fast and the food as good as expected. The waitress regularly topped up our tea with a smile. Billing was fast and pleasantly done.

Food was OK except the Dim-Sum. Noodle was not soft due to short cooking time.

generally pleasant and good food. only problem is can't call up and make reservations. No one answers the phone.

Had been a long time since last visited this restaurant. Service staff has changed a fair bit but food still as good. One suggestion would be for the service staff to advise the ordering amount cos we have a lot of leftover
