The Mind Cafe - Board Games Cafe

It was a very fun experience. Since there was only 2 of us, we were lost as to what to play. We seemed advise from the game staff and they advised us accordingly and gave us very clear instructions on the game and even checked up on us after a while. Great service and the good food to keep us going too 😊

Staff was friendly and allowed me in early though my booking was for 8pm (I reached an hour early). Food was reasonable (could have had more sauce for my tom yam pasta!), but free flow drinks was awesome. Friends and I had a chill time of playing and enjoying ourselves. Staff was sweet to play happy birthday song for my friend when the cake came out (they even prepared the candle though I totally forgot abt it).

It was fun althought some of the games weren't in the best condition, my friends amd I enjoyed nevertheless and the staff were friendly and complied to our requests happily as well.

Friendly service , wide range of board games. I would go to the place more for the games than food, but that's their specialty.Certainly worth another go!

I booked the reservation quite last minute on the day itself, but they are still able to arrange a table for 8pax! They even make the extra effort to remind us about the reservation despite the crowd in the cafe! Good job!

The experience was good. Lots of games to choose from to play. Would have been great if the whole place had the sofa seats and not only one small section.

The selection of games is not bad, and they have quite a few of the old classics and across a wide age range so it was fun for my two nieces (5yo and 2yo). The food however was quite a lot less than desirable and the mustiness of the place seriously needs to be looked at.

Service was good, and since we were unfamiliar with most of the games, we were taught how to play the games by the staff, and we had a lot of fun!

The staff are friendly and approachable and environment are considered a bit too noisy especially everyone is enjoying with the game. Toilet room should have 2 to avoid long waiting time. Overall are quite ok.

The staff there were courteous and service was very good. The games were really enjoyable and I had a lot of fun with my friends.

Service was average. Staff was friendly enough. Some of the games were kinda used and old. Got the $11.90 promotion with free flow of drinks but to to get refills we had to personally bring the cups to the food counter - so what is the point of paying service charge? Overall, it was a good experience but that is more due to the good time with friends.

A cheaper option to have fun in a comfortable and cozy cafe. The objective is not to dine in typical cafes but play games, talk loudly and be yourselves just like being at home. A good place to chill.

Minds Cafe has a great selection of game and affordable rates. Great place to hang out for friends but it can get really loud, especially on the weekends.

The mind cafe is a very nice board game cafe and I really enjoy my time playing various board games with my friends at here.

Staffs were helpful and it is a good place for bonding. There are many choices for the games as well! It was a pleasant experience overall.

Enjoyable evening at the Mind Cafe, huge range of boardgames to choose from, nice food and pleasant environment. Patrons are mostly teenagers, youth & young adults, and the atmosphere was always relaxed, lively, buzzy with occasional outbursts of laughter or exclamations from the more rowdy groups.

Quick to get a table, good environment for games! Food was in rather small portions, especially the spaghetti... Quite a fun place to be in! Not all servers were friendly though, maybe due to the crowd and commotion in the place. Still, a good place to chill out with friends. :)

The cafe was rather busy and noisy but that's to be expected of a game cafe. The staff was generally helpful and attentive, prompt in their service. It was overall an enjoyable experience.

Food is good, might need some painting works to be done for the place as the whole place look kinda "old". But overall, it is still a great experience.

Mind Cafe was truly good. Its palatable dishes and interesting games kept me and my friends going. We had to reluctantly leave because we had to catch a movie.

The staff was very customer oriented. They were able to entertain our every request and made sure we had a wonderful experience. The venue is great for our gathering as we need not worried about making too much noise as everyone there was also playing games and having fun. The food was great too!

Lots of interesting games. Wished they include some of the non-thinking games such as snake and ladder for younger kids. Food was ok. Ambiance was nice. Would visit again.

The games were all incomplete (we tried out six different ones, including a monopoly game that had half the cards missing) ... even connect four was broken so it wouldn`t stand up. A very disappointing evening... don`t waste your time.

There are a great range of board games available. The pricing on weekdays is acceptable too! However, one thing bad is the air ventilation, the oily air smell from the food is rather unpleasant.

Good and friendly people. However thr food menu is very limited at Dhoby outlet, the snacks ran out and were left w some drinks, cookies and mains to choose from.

My first visit to a board game in a cafe setting. My observations on a Friday night, about 8pm, in September 2015: 1. Pictures of food looked good in its website. However, decided to settle for drinks to assess the quality. All of us were hugely disappointed (diluted and hence, we stopped at that. Ordered one dessert in the end to give her another chance. 2. Quality of the board games is not well-kept. The establishment should assert patrons to keep the contents in their designated places. Imagine viewing cards of every kind strewn all over the box. Time was spent to sort them! First and last because I would rather join a board game meet up session.

Reserved a table for 4 and we had the Mega Late Night package. We stayed till 4am and had a great time. The staff service was good and attentive. Thumbs up to Clive and crew.

Nice place to relax and unwind without using technology! (for a change!) :) pretty sure this place is good for getting to know and spending some bonding time with friends! :) will definitely come back again :)

Fantastic setting, only down side is the games been messed up by the people who use the Mind Cafe facilities by not returning or losing the items that belongs to the games.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit again. I wish they can offer more drinks and snacks in addition to what they have now. Last time when I order hot aloe vera tea or something, they do not have it in stock. A little bit disappointed. However, it was a very pleasant experience overall!

Great place to hangout with friends or colleagues! It would have been a better experience if the place was kept clean after patrons left the area. Nonetheless, we had a good time!

2nd time visit and was served by the same crew, very friendly and nice people! We just had to tried the lasagna but its a little disappointing as I could not taste the pasta, 3.5 / 5 for the food.

Friendly staffs! Was very crowded when we reached but there was not much coordination problem even when more people came later on. Cant wait to return!
