The Mind Cafe - Board Games Cafe

My friend and I both really loved this cafe because of its unique concept and also because unlike many popular cafes, this one was not packed with people making it a nice space to relax and unwind. The food was pretty good as well and I'd definitely recommend this cafe for anyone looking to go somewhere quiet and fun.

great place and a best place to chill with friends. many choices about the list of board games here, the snack also good with reasonable price.

Games and friends cant go wrong...variety of board games but old fav still be Jenga n Uno..Only setback diluted drinks and non working A/C..Staff so welcoming..

Service there was EXCELLENT!! Food is AMAZING!!! Great atmosphere and best of all, the package that Mind Cafe have is really really affordable. This is the reasons why more people should check out this place as it has not just a wide range of board games available but the many different promotions at different days which are guaranteed to make you come back for more. However it can get abit loud when groups of people come, as they may shout and scream which is still fairly understandable as its a big group. Overall AMAZING EXPERIENCE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 10/10.

Great Place for games. They have a big selection. (Only one set of Settlers of Catan though) However, the food was not that great. Curry chicken that I ordered was extremely oily.

Although it was closing time, the staff at the cafe was patient and helped us to take a photo with the Halloween props in the cafe. Overall good service and I will surely come back again with my friends soon! :)

I was quite unhappy with my time there because the staff present had no idea how to play the games or even guide us on it. Of course, they apologised and said that the staff who do know how to play they games were not around for the day, but I am of the opinion that as long as you work in a board games cafe, there should be effort put in to learn the games. The staff present don't know every game we asked for assistance; it was off-putting and upsetting, considering we paid not only to play, but also to get the service. I do hope this feedback gets to the management and changes can be made. Thank you.

The place was understaffed that particular night and caused a long wait to get the attention of the staff. However, the staffs were friendly and helpful. Another point to add is that some of the games are old and tattered with some pieces missing. May be time to change them. Overall, still an enjoyable visit but there's always room for improvement.

Surprisingly it wasn't crowded on a mid week.The service was good and most of the games were available.great place will visit more often!☺️ The food was decently good:)

Staff there were really friendly and patient with us even though our friends were late for the reservation. Snacks promptly refilled and we all had a lot of fun playing the games :)

Most of the time crowded, good to book. Games are poorly maintained and some pieces and instuction pages are missing. But overall good experience. Good.

I found the place to be quite hip, will go again

A very nice place to have gathering and have fun together. It is just a place full of laughter and also a great place to build the friendship.

we were told by the chinese waitress that the 11.80 dinner set includes food and gaming but no top up which was stated in the menu. Instead when the bill came it was much more, and we had to pay extra including the bill for the older of the two under than 3 year old kids for didnt game. Food was mediocre to bad and service crew wasnt helpful.

Excellent customer service from the male staff who was there on 16 October (Sunday) evening! He was helpful and patience in explaining the games to us! Definitely would like to make a trip there again!

Would be great if 1) more games which are suitable for kids aged 6-10 can be included 2) there were more staff on duty during peak hours. The staff were too busy serving food n drinks n had no time to advice us on the games. Our orders are even served wrongly！

it was great fun. The place is great for relaxation and mindless fun. Plenty of different board games and a lot of games were not even found in Singapore. would definitely recommend to my friends!

Nice and quiet on a tuesday night. Top it up with ladies night makes it a good place to chill in. Spaghetti could have been better as 2 portions of it were both overcooked. Dessert fared much better.

Staff quite friendly. But my friend order some food, the chicken meat has a bad smell when I try a mouth that cause me wanna vomit. Their dessert is nice and tasty.

Quick and easy on making a reservation, hassle-free. The staff was friendly. There are a lot of different variety games. There could be more variety choice of finger food. Be sure to make a reservation first before going down!

too few staffs to cater to the masses. staffs might forget to refill your drinks and snacks. otherwise lovely place to hang out with friends and family

I loved how the price is kept affordable. Staffs are nice and generally know the games well ! The food is like normal cafe price but maybe slightly cheaper which is great!! Especially since many students , myself included, go there.

Explanation of games was good. Free flow drinks provided. However, there was shortage of staff, and it was hard to get attention of service staff.

Service was great. Did not have to wait much when we arrived on time. Service staff were prompt in asking us whether we want our drinks refilled. Cosy environment with many board games to choose from. A good place to hangout with friends on a weekend. Overall, a great experience for first timer like me. (cafe was full house on my visit, so do remember to make reservation)

I am glad that the staff are starting to learn more games and can recommend some to us. Hope they keep the good progress up and be able to teach us more good games. In general they are friendly and good natured, though the choice of food is always quite disappointing because what we want is always not available. Perhaps a smaller, more consistent menu is what they need.

Fun place with lots of games to choose from & simple food that is enjoyable & reasonably priced, will have to go back to try out again!

Very helpful and friendly staff who taught us how to play those game. Also, the cafe opens till late night during the weekends. Definitely a place for the weekend. :)

as the place says it. had a thoroughly good time with the games. a wide variety and packaged timing was very good. however food is terribly subpar and the wait staff are young and unattentive, unapolgetic and not well versed at the games.

Nice and cozy place. Celebrated my son's 11th birthday there.... Great facilitation of the boardgames. Value for money. Good place for even older couples and families with young kids to spend a wholesome Sat evening afternoon. It beats playing on tablets and computers any time !

good place to have games and celebrate a birthday party. tho' you might want to check what are the food options as every time I go there, the stuff my friends want to eat are always out... I like the cajun chicken rice a lot, but would rate the food low simply because of above.

Wide range of board games, cosy atmosphere makes it a perfect space to spend a chill afternoon with a close knit group of friends. I went on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded since there were only 4 groups of people there. 3 hours and free flow of drinks at only $7.80 (w/o GST) makes it perfect for first-timers like us!

Service sucks though we were the first customers in the empty cafe and not worth me paying 10% service charge for the lousy service. One particularly tall Server at the prinsep street branch gave all sorts of excuses to mend the monopoly board that's broken into half upon my request. Guess he'd used the same excuses cos of his laziness. After me being frankly sick of his excuses, he reluctantly mended the board. Definitely will be our first and last visit there

Mind Café is a great place for friends to hang out and relax and play board games and card games. There are many fun games available and the staff members are very helpful and will not hesitate to explain the rules/help us if we need it. Overall was a great experience.

Amazing atmosphere, games and food ! Will always return whenever able to ! Staff are very friendly and hospitable, always attentive and smiling. Great place !!

It was good as usual. Always a go to place and never disappoints. Kudos to staffs who do their job well and making the experience pleasant.

We enjoy playing strategy games and there is a great variety available. You may have to learn the rules by yourself because the staff may not know all the games.

Good place for gatherings and games to chill out. Packages for games and free flow drinks are value for money too. Worth a visit for something different

Service was good. But food quality needs improvement. We had baked rice, spaghetti & some sides. Isn't my first time at mind cafe, prinsep. Interior of cafe could be more well maintained. There was some renovation going on next door when at 7-8pm!

Overall the customer service was great – friendly and approachable. Experience was great. Totally enjoyed myself! Wide range of games though didn't get to play the one i want, "SETS" but still staff gave similar alternatives. Thank you!
