The food was good. Service fast. Servers attentive. Price reasonable. Seating arrangement could have been better but that's how the layout on the first floor is. Minor detail. Overall was good.

Good ambience good food. Price was okay for the quality of food. Would love to go there again and have their cheese n chips and fish n chips.

I simply love the friendly service as well as the lovely ambience over there, with the perfect food served, provided a cosy feeling none like other.

Was welcomed with a friendly smile and taken care of. Food was awesome! Big portions of Fish & Chips. Probably the volume of the music should be slightly lower or perharps, no need of one as there's live bands along the streets that already add-on to the environment.

Ambience was good but food was a little let down. Quite pricy for fish and chips that wasnt that nice to begin with. Great concept though

Been here twice in a month, food is good, ambience is great. I've always felt that it's a great place to hang out and catch up with friends. Will be back!

Had Dory Fish and Chips, Marmite Honey Wings and Mashed Potato among other things. The food was excellent, and the service was great. Was informed it may take awhile due to the crowd but food came earlier than expected. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely be back soon!

I like the deco of the place, very vintage and old skool feeling

The ambience and staff were great! However I had to wait for around 45mins for my food so that was a slight minus point. The dory fish and chips were soft and flaky, however were unaccompanied with tartar sauce. Other than that all was good!

Sat on the second floor and the place was cozy. I loved how the items on the menu was true to its theme of the U.K! The quality of food was great too. Would highly recommend it to my friends for sure.

The food was just ok and not as good as an English grub should be and quite pricey for what you are paying. Service was good but food could be better. A little of a let-down in comparison with their sister restos.

Terrible service.. Finish our food but the drinks never came👎🏼 waited for more than half an hour but customer order later than us got their drinks first

Food was excellent. Staff were friendly. Ambience on 1st floor was great. However, they could do a bit more deco on the 2nd floor, eg, adding curtains to the windows. The afternoon sun was "glaring" into the dining area. Music was nice but could have been softer on the volume. Overall, a great place to chill.

The food portion was big enough n yhe food is fulfilling. Tried their fish n chips n the sauce was nice, different from the typical sauce from other shops.The service was very good too...ambience was cozy and theres even free wifi.

Loved the drinks and the food was delicious. Had difficulty eating their fish n chips and would prefer a service staff to check on the 2nd floor guests more often.

It is too bad there was not much choice for us to choose from when we arrived. Wish we could have a full menu even at that hour.

Mad Sailors setting is so quaint and cozy, It feels like you are transported to another place or even era. The food is good. The Gravy Train Sainers and Bang Mashers are a must try.

Good service. Food was good and portions was quite big. Also, we were initially informed that there were 9 pieces of fried Mars Bar but was only given 6. We dismissed it without any second thoughts but the waitress came by a few minutes later and gave us a complimentary apple tart (?) to make up for her error. Appreciated the gesture.

The fish of the fish and chips was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside but a little bland in taste (with lemon and vinegar added) Potato pancakes did not turn out like expected (rosti) but came on a plate like some mashed potato with mixed spices and vegetable in it. The potato pancake was too dry despite having sour cream sauce on it. Berry slushy was awesome thirst quenching drink with a tinge of mint that is not over powering. Marmite chicken was alright. Also thought it would come as a fried dish but it was not but still tasted pretty okay. Apple pie was a surprise delight. Not too sweet and dry. It was a surprise that it goes well with the additional chocolate ice cream as well. A pity ice cream melt too fast in our climate. Service was excellent. Amazing staff who gave us choice of our seatings and knowing that is was my friend's birthday, they gave a complimentary cake. Kudos to the team!

The place was wonderful. Love the fish and chips. 🤓 I would recommend this place to people who wants to come and enjoy dinner. Great!

really liked the authentic British food served; servers were quite pleasant; as a server was clearing and cleaning our table, she conveniently wiped remnants of food off the table onto the floor and that concerned my friends and I because that could jeopardise the cleanliness and hygiene of the establishment

Our first time there, food was great! We had the fish & chips (dory) and bangers& mash. Thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. Service was good as well.

Service could be better, waited really long for the drinks which did not come until we asked. Food was alright. But good overall considering it's quite new.

The location was easy to find and the service was okay. Food is fine but the breakfast avocado drink is quite a disappointment. It's very tasteless.

Good food, staffs were attentive and friendly. Went there for break fast during the fasting month and the staffs ensured our food came right on time and while still hot. Yorkshire pudding in the "toad in the hole" was a pleasant surprise (as it was not mentioned in the description what it was) and went well the the sausages. Overall a satisfying dining experience.

It was a busy evening, so our food came really late. It was fine but they seem to keep forgetting about our orders and had to keep asking. Maybe a different system like taking notes could help them remember a bit better because we had to repeat our late orders 4 times before it finally came. The food was good nonetheless.

The place was easy to find, just follow along the haji lane and you'll find the red scooter parked outside. The cafe texted me asking to preorder the food as there'll be a crowd so it's good that we could get the food faster in comparison to ordering the food once we're being seated at the cafe. The fish&chips was great(generous portion!) and I especially love the carrot cake! do get it if you drop by :) Oh, also the service was great!

Service was a bit slow, this was probably due to the big crowd dining for Iftar. The members of staff were very apologetic and kept the customers updated on their orders. Overall, great food and customer service!

We enjoyed our dining- Eggs & Sensational Soldier, Marmite Honey Wings, Mash Potatoes, Toad in hole, Good O'English Fry-Up, Fish & Chip (Dory & Cod -which we prefer cod more), Gingerbread Man- which my mom liked & enjoyed most!!! Surprisingly my mom felt comfortable (which is very important for me 😃) with the ambience & food. Perfect place for chill & catch up with friends. Ms Hayley & Staffs provide an excellent service. will definitely be back for more. thank you 👍 p/s: few more variety of food will be better.

Great food, service and people! The place was kind of a hole in the wall, but once inside, the ambience was pretty warm and nice.
