The Clan Restaurant

My first time visit to The Clan Restaurant, was a birthday celebration for my dad. They have excellent service and food was awesome. If those who have been to Dozo before, you will definitely find it very similar, as one of the chef was from there and started The Clan. The place has very nice ambience, elegant decor, quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a nice place to dine at, this is highly recommended. The staffs were very attentive towards us, checking on us to make sure everything is great for us. The courses were served very promptly. The best dish was the Wayu Loin, will definitely be back for it again. The lamb was good, but certainly medium doneness was a little over for us, should have ordered medium well instead. Given that the Wayu Loin was on the hot stone, we used the hot stone to further seared our Lamb, as it was still a little bloody for the lamb. The best part was they reheat the stone for us to further grill our lamb. Was quite amusing, as fine dinning ended up to become like Korean BBQ, as there were some smoke at our tables. The wrap up for dessert was beautiful, I personally like the chocolate lava with home-make gelato, get your cameras ready when you order this. It was indeed sweet of them to surprised my dad with their chocolate truffle cake as his birthday cake with happy birthday written on the plate served for him. Had a great and beautiful night at The Clan for my family.

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Great food. Gourmet food, wine and ambience at very reasonable prices. We picked the place to celebrate our wedding anniversary n birthday. They arranged for a birthday cum anniversary cake to end off our special night and volunteered to take photos for us. We enjoyed our night. Very pleased. No regrets. Two thumbs up!

Service is good. Some dishes I do no really like but overall is a good experience. I would recommend my friend to go back there and dine.

Quiet and comfortable atmosphere ideally for a lunch date, the food is delicious and service is prompt. I will definitely go back there again to try their dinner course meal. Thumbs up!

Awesome service and great food! Great for special occasion such as anniversaries and birthdays! Waiter/waitresses are very attentive to our needs and receptive to feedback on food quality.

Value for money set lunch. Lamb was tender but would have been great if it was more charred on the fats. Had to cut off all of it as it was too rubbery.

Great food and interactive service, very good value for the price, though the menu is limited in that you can only choose a course lunch or dinner, there is still plenty of choices for you to choose from overall for each course that will make you want to come back to try the rest of the dishes

Quality food and nice ambience although prices may be on the high side. Price on the revamped menu was considerably higher and may not be worth it without discounts.

Good food, good ambience and impeccable service as usual. Very accomodating staff who replaced the cold starter for one of our guests who is allergic to seafood. Foie gras was excellent and the lamb rack was done to perfection (pink but not bloody). Excellent choice for entertaining friends.

Impeccable service and very good food. Scallops for appetiser was great, so was the foie gras. Dessert menu could be improved though. Overall great experience!

Nice ambience but staff fall short of expectation. We request for the bread stick but was told that they ran out of the sauce n hence unable to serve us. Yet barely ten mins ago we just saw the next table having their bread sticks. At least they should have told us earlier instead of being asked. It also happened that the next table was a group of businessmen and one of them may be the boss there, hence a little noisy at that time.

Good food at value for money prices! Kudos to the chef that designs the menu cos nothing is not nice on the menu! I feel the sincerity of the Chef who wants nothing but the best gastronomic experience for the guests! Thumbs up and will be back again!

Good atmosphere and set course should be considered. Service is nice but seems to have ended once you pay. Food is refreshing and is worth a visit.

Was slightly sceptical being in the PoMo mall but surprisingly was excellent from the service to the food & wine. Highly recommend this place

The best dish of the night was the Wagyu loin. Would definitely be back for more and recommend my friends to the clan. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and service. But it does seems to be out of place compared to the other tenants in the building.

I booked for a dinner reservation for my wife's birthday last May 6. The food and service were awesome! The chef even prepared for us a special birthday cake to celebrate! It was a very nice experience. We will be coming back soon for sure! Thank you.

Excellent presentation and quality food. I went with 2 school going kids, they loved it so much they were taking about it as we drove home from New Year's Eve dinner!

The set meal costs about $90 per person but i felt like that the taste of the dishes was only average. The presentation and service was good though

The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food. Dishes were presented nicely and the ambience is not too bad. Service is amazingly fast and the staff is very attentive!

Very good experience, the captain that served us was very friendly, accomodating and efficient. She went the extra mile to make sure that we are totally full after our meal!

Nice food, but not as good as before. Way too many wait staff and they were walking up and down the alley way too often. Could sense the cost-cutting measures with complimentary water not being offered and second round of breadsticks being chargeable - these were complimentary at their previous location! Menu has been updated, with interesting choices and decently executed, but portions seem smaller than before. All in all, restaurant would need to find their groove back from their hey day.

We went on a Saturday night. Food was delicious and price was affordable considering it's fine dining. Ambience was great and staffs were attentive. Really glad to have dined here!

Excellent food! Spoilt for choices, so it really helped with recommendations from the staff. Thanks for the wonderful experience dining at Clan's Restaurant. Would have preferred both desserts to be served at the same time if possible though.

Quality of the food and service was great! They even gave a free surprise birthday cake for us. The only negative thing is that the portions are abit small.

Was there to celebrate friends birthday. Food was splendid, presentation of the food win hearts, service was impeccable. Certainly am going back for it again!

Had fond memories of a dinner party there when they were in their old location. So when I finally had an off day, decided to go there with my boyfriend. The place is in a surprising location, yet once you step in, there is a very nice ambiance. Quiet and peaceful, slightly sleepy decor. Service was excellent as usual, very attentive and personalized, just how I remember it. At first we thought the food was coming a bit slow then we realized they were waiting for us to leisurely finish each course before coming with the next. (I guess we are not used to fine dining ha ha). As for the food, we had the 6 course set dinner. I do not think I am personally qualified to review fine dinning, but I can say, that we really enjoyed it all. The soup was very rich, their cold and hot starters were a something we had not tasted before but still very nice, and the Ocean trout I had has main course was particularly delicious. Soft and tender and flavorful. And we couldn't help but stare at the next time when their main course came too (but I do not know its name. All in all we do feel like we would definitely come here again.

Food was very good. Good variety of selection and sizable portions made it value for money. Service was good too if not above the call of duty.

I like the Clan Restaurant from before better. Better value then. Quality of food is quite good, but it is not much different from any other good restaurants. Regret that beef on hot stone is no more on the menu. The portions for each course are also quite small such that some may find that the meal is not quite filling, especially the younger folks.

Service was attentive, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. Food was good, enjoyed the oysters, the beef, the foie gras - everything! The complimentary apple sorbet was really good too. Really like the place!

This time , the service was poorer compared to all y previous visits. Although I made reservation, table was not set up. The welcome drink was served after first course. Waitress did not serve water and we had to help ourselves. A cheaper Lunch menu was offered which makes Clan the same as any other restaurant. I asked if I could have the 5 or 6 courses dinner menu but it is now not available for lunch even though I was prepared to pay for it.

Shame about the relocation from Club Street to PoMo mall, however the food and service remain worthwhile. We tried the lunch this time and will be back.

Fantastic service! The service staff were very attentive and tried their best to accede to our requests. They were always checking on us to see that we had everything we wanted. The food was also good

The food was okay and value for money. Though I wouldn't say the food experience was that special as compared to other fine dining places but this was indeed value for money. The servers were very helpful and attentive.

Pleasant experience. Minor point - they don't provide hot water. Alternative is mineral water which cost about $7. Food was good. Waiter cordial but not forthcoming if you are not familiar with the choices in the menu. Will definitely visit again.

Went once at their old location...great food great service...Decided to go there again for my girlfriend birthday celebration but this time at the new location... the place was really good.. standard still there..friendly staff attend to my special requests... food was great and service was good. totally worth the value... I will return for sure:)

Service was poor as no one attended to us when we were at the door waiting to be served. When we have done an online booking. The welcome drink was refreshing. Food wise not great- scallop was rubbery, mushroom soup has no standard. Cod fish & lamb chop were good. Desert nothing fantastic. Will not go again.
