The food is usually good and cheap. However this last experience was a tad disappointing. The food was below their usual standard and the food portion have shrunk. We found out from the boss that the regular cook was away and it was just a random occurrence.

The pricing is extremely reasonable and the food served is definitely better than most tze char stalls out there. One thing they could probably improve is to expand their menu to include some desserts like cakes and/or ice cream or even some traditional thai desserts. But overall, very good experience and definitely recommended!

Just go with the popular items. The cereal chicken and pork ribs are good. Pricing is reasonable as well. The place is crowded during weekend with many takeaways.

Although service is a little slow, the food is tasty. The portion for small can be pretty small. Overall, pleasant place for family dinner. Be sure to make reservations for weekend dinner as the palace is rather popular on weekends.

Food is no longer that remarkable, clearly shorthanded so waiting time is long. Hard time getting the staff attention that we had to go up to the counter several times

I have a penchant for restaurants in old condominium compounds - they bring on a sense of nostalgia, of being back in the Singapore of simpler times. Thaipan definitely had that ambience I was looking for a relaxed, cosy birthday celebration over homely tasting tze char. The dishes tend to be on the greasy side but we didn't mind since it was a special occasion: time to indulge. Try the jade tofu with pork floss with a great helping of rice.

Food is still as good as previously but service could have been better. Lots of food were sold out today as lack of ingredients due to New Year.

The service was so so but the food was really yummy. The Butter Prawns, Cereal Chicken, Jin Du Pork And French Beans were really outstanding.

Good zi char restaurant with some thai influence. Food is great, and prices aee cheap. The fish maw soup was actually loaded with fish maw, nit a few stingy pieces like some places. Jade toufu was also pretty nice. Recomended.

Food was good. Service was slow. We were the only ones sitting in the non air conditioned area so they didn't come out to service us often.

The food was great. The prices are reasonable, there was no additional service charge, only additional 7% GST. It wasn't crowded on a Friday night, so the food arrived fast.

Prices were reasonable. No service charges which is a bonus. Service was ok needed a little prompting. Great crowd even on a weekday.

The restaurant is understaffed. The service staff tried their best. The food is below average but anyway its prices are very reasonable. The air-conditioning system is not functioning well and they had to resort to fans.

It's my 3rd visit and ThaiPan never fails to serve good food. Despite busy and crowded most of the time, they serve dishes very prompt and efficiently not to mention they've a team of friendly staffs. Besides its really value for money. Definitely recommend.

the food and service was excellent! the pork rib was really succulent and juicy while the olive fried rice had tons of wok hei. the onions and mango that came with the olive fried rice really cut through the oil of the rice, and made it a really nice combination.

BEST EAST SIDE FOOD. have been going there for years and all my family love the food especially butter squid. must order the cereal chicken too!

Aircon was not working. 3 fans were used. When we started dinning it was around 27 deg but as we dined, temperature rose to 29 deg C!!

I went there on Mother's day for lunch and we had a table for six. It was crowded. The food was Great, tasty and good value for money!!

Very bad experience. When we ordered food from the menu was told it was not available. We told the instead, staff to put less salt and less oil but it turned to be super saltish and oily instead, horrible. Service was not good too. Never think of going back.

We were there early and they have kindly accommodate us anyway. Food was much much better last time..hope they can restore their standards when they first started.

I and my colleagues were having a farewell party for our colleague at your restuarant on 17 March recently, Coincidentally, we found that one of our other colleague's birthday fell on the same day. We hurriedly bought a cake after enquiring from a friendly counter staff and request that your restaurant staff helped us with it . when the "Birthday Boy" returned from the washroom, Ruth, your sevice staff was so innovative, she jangled on the tambourine and decorated our plain Sara Lee cake on a nice plate, complete with the Happy Birthday sign and surprised our friend with the Happy Birthday song! We heard the other guests singing along too! Hahaha. Then, we also spoke to Suzanne, another of your service staff and she was very helpful in answering some of our enquiries with one of the sweetest smile ! My colleagues and I had a unforgettable evening at your restuarant and all of us said we will bring our families there again. The food was good and prices were reasaonable. Well Done & Keep It Up !

Ordered set menu but one dish was nissing which the staff didn't notie until we informed them. Very poor service attitude from the service crew as well. Cash register was down an we had to wait 15mins to pay for the bill.
