Ambience is good and staff are great but food portions are rather small

Absolutely terrible experience that just ruined my day. Been to Tapas Club at Orchard central - the food there was much better. Came to VivoCity branch pre-covid, it was not great, but decided to try again given the better OC experience - bad decision. 1. Croquettes was not hot enough and tasted like it has been pre-cooked and left in the kitchen for a while before service - It must be the worst croquettes that I have ever been served in a Spanish tapas restaurants. Took 3 times to get to a reasonable standard (still not great, just barely acceptable). My 7 year old was the one who highlighted that the croquettes were cold when she ate it. 2. Service staff was not apologetic and just insist that if I’m not happy, she can do a refund of the dish. Well i guess I can afford not having a refund and enjoy better food and service at another restaurant. There was another incident while we were paying that I was not happy about, but I will just focus on the food and service in this review which is bad enough. While it is expected that service standards will decline post covid - but this is absolutely the worst experience I have had at a restaurant post covid. Never rated a restaurant below 4 before in Quandoo or anywhere else, so this is an exceptional restaurant. Not coming back to this restaurant ever again, to save them the efforts on providing me a refund given the quality of their food, so that they can focus on delivering better food and service to other guests.

Recommendation was good. Shared many small dishes to our filling. Water was charged though.

the paella was somewhat not within expectations, it was a little to wet to my liking. beef steak was very good.

Great prompt and attentive service from staff. Staff was patient when taking our order and making recommendations. We did not wait long for the food to arrive - in fact it came faster than expected. Atmosphere and noise level was suitable to have a good conversation.

Good ambient, good food and good wine. This is my second visit to the restaurant in a week for different occasions. Will visit again soon.

Nice and great location to visit and eat with friends

Waiting time is really long, we waited for almost 40mins for our food to come, after ordering. A lot of items were sold out, food is so-so for most of the items we ordered too. Beef cheeks were delicious though!

Pricing is reasonable. We enjoyed the tapas but the 2 paella we ordered were on a little too salty for our liking. Dessert portion is very generous.

Visiting the Vivo outlet changed my impression of Tapas because my first visit in the Genting branch was real bad. Nevertheless, staff were very attentive and polite. Often checking back on whether the food are served. Will recommend the Grilled Norway Salmon, which is very well worth its price.

Had returned 3x within a week and returning again next few weeks.the staff is friendly and attentive. Tad hot in the back of the house but it is OK, with a view of the sentosa bay. Nice place to meet friends, eat good food and drink good wine at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Food was way way below expectation. Service by the server Zack is bad. Location, however is good and we had a table by the waters which was nice. Ordered their chef recommendation Garlic Chicken. No flavour, tastes like something I cook (so it's bad...) And presentation was horrible. Looked like someone just scooped it out from the buffet table and threw it on the plate. Their brinjal chips lacked seasoning and I don't think serving it with honey made sense especially since the brinjal itself had little flavour to contrast the sweet honey. Brocccolini with red pepper sauce was also not great. They didn't serve brocccolini, instead they used Broccoli. The sauce they served us tasted like romesco sauce more than red pepper sauce. No red pepper flavour at all.

Very nice restaurant, has very nice view of Sentosa. Especially nice chill out place as the sunsets and the view lights up. Service is great, one of the best. The squid ink paella and drinks weee really nice
