Suki-Ya - Heartland Mall Kovan

Meat portion seems to have increased, so go easy on the number of boxes you order to avoid wastage. You can always add on since meats are free flow :) Overall a satisfying meal at Sukiya Kovan. Not too rowdy and reasonably fast service. Can see they are a bit shorthanded; plus that senior guy -- is he the manager? --there today is kinda impatient and rude to customers who asked about various deals they have on offer.

Our third visit here, Friendly staffs. They are fast in topping up our request of meat. Will definitely go again. Keep up the Good job!!

Fast, efficient and good service. Valid with other cards' promotion even if using this booking site. We will try again using Quandoo for another makan session.

Service was not bad; meat was replenish quickly when we asked. Food was fresh. Given that the restaurant was not overly crowded, stAff did not harass us on time limit. Appreciated not being rushed:)

Great place to dine, the restaurant was relatively clean and peaceful, nothing too drastic to complain about. But the selection of foods were rather limited. Food was also mediocre, for the price paid.

We enjoyed the food and is a good place for gathering. When everyone come together to have our buffet. Love the beef served there especially.

Food selection good, most food quite fresh except the chilli which had a frozen smell, and chilli is very important when eating hotpot. Service a little slow as they seem to be a little short-handed, but once you get their attetion, the meats come quickly.

Great ambience and the buffet soup and foods types varieties provides is great. I will come back again with my group of friends and family members.

The food items at Kovan Heartland Mall is very limited compared to Plaza Singapura's outlet. The fruits offered were whole pears not even sliced pears. At average $25 per person on a weekend lunch, considered expensive for the food items offered.

Experience dining in Sukiya at Kovan is good just that I have to ask the waiter many times before the soup is refilled. There isn't much crowd during my reservation timing.

There was a one-for-one offer but the cashier charged us the full price. When we enquired, she said that we did not inform her. We clarified and she later agreed to give us the one-for-one offer. I find this arrangement very weird. Why have a one-for-one offer and if the person did not mention he/she is taking the offer, you charge the person the full price. If there is a one for one offer, this should be automatically known that the customer would opt for this offer. I think it is a very silly arrangement or there is another ulterior motive for such an arrangement.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we were having a great dining experience. I would recommend this place !

this outlet didnt have much ingredients there like fishball etc compared to others outlet. but overall was good like the services and attitude of the staff.

Food was good, the meat was fresh and the soup was very good. How ever service was a little on the slow side. Will be back again

Generous portions of beef and pork in each tray (ala carte style). Good mix of condiments. Veg wise, very limited choice. Sorely lacking in fruits and desserts. Worth a visit if you are a meat lover :)

The meats (beef, chicken and pork) were very fresh. However, there were not enough variety of vegetables nad the cold drinks seemed diluted (flat), especially the Coke.

Decent selections available and discount available with the member card.

Service was okay on a slow weekday night. Sukiyaki soup was good! Dessert was also provided, I liked the selection given. Will go back again!

Had a nice birthday celebration with a friend there. Waiting staff - an old auntie - was attentive as she regularly checked on us and asked if we would like to replenish any more meats.

The food was generally fine. The service was, however, not acceptable. The wait staff took forever to attend to us even though the place wasn't crowded.

Food not that fantastic that i have tried at other branch. 80 mins consume time is a little bit too little for us as a group.

Food and service was so so. Money better spent eating elsewhere. Though it's buffet but I rather pay for ala carte at places like haidilao

The booking is quite efficient and also quite fast to finish the entries, even though the choice of restaurant may not be at the moment concise yet.

Not much variety and requested to have a corner seat but is rejected by the service staff. Trying to get staff to top up soup but all seem to be busy.

My second visit to this outlet. Great Dining experience but if the ice cream is also open for lunch it will be even better. Staffs are friendly!

Food was ok but lack of variety in choices for meat. Service staff was attentive though. Actively topped up our soup and offered to help change a set of pork belly that was too fatty.

Good variety of ingredient options. Feel that staff can take more initiative to refill soup. I am a frequent patron and I don't think there's ever once the staff refilled our soup base without us asking.

Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was alright but the broth was a bit watery. Selection of food was not very wide but it was good enough.

Disappointed with the range of food items available. They removed the cheese tofu, and the delicious chilli sauce mix that we normally use to dip our meats in. Also, the duration of time they give for students ($14.90++ promotion) has been reduced from 1.5 hours to just an hour. That's hardly enough time for us to have a relaxing lunch. The only thing that saved them was the good service provided by this elderly waitress, who had smiles on her face and efficiently refills people's steam boats with soup whenever she noticed that they were running low on it. Other than that, the service of all the other staff was below par, and they didn't look interested in their jobs at all.

The food is good replenished fast. Too bad that there wasn't any chilli, only chilli flakes. We had gotten a good discount using Safra card too. 😀

Food is good but not much variety. However the service over there wasnt that great. Staff were almost all blackface with attitude. Maybe they can improve on their attitude.

Service and food very good! Not crowded on weekdays. 1 for 1 deal by OCBC card was a great deal. Broccoli and other vegetables were fresh.
