Restaurant opened later than expected. Service was good though. Food was good too. Serving is pretty big especially the pastas. Wouldn’t mind eating there again.

Standard has dropped drastically. Did not have a pleasant experience. Ordered their wagyu beef and it tasted so tough. Wondering if the chef has changed.

Excellent food. The Wagyu striploin is one of best best I've had! We dined in the lovely open air courtyard, which is surprisingly cool and comfortable.

Attentive service staff! Food was nothing to much to shout about except the Panna Cotta :) Was a bit dampened by the leaking air conditioner but I guess it was unpredictable.

It was a pleasant and fuss free experience. The servers were very prompt and polite and made my husbands day with a rousing rendition of happy birthday. It is one of our favorites dinner places!

Great food, excellent service and beautiful ambiance. The only negative was the smokers standing on the balcony upstairs from where we were dining in the courtyard. When we asked whether they can be asked to stop smoking and ruining our meal, the maitre d' just said that they belong to another company sharing the same building...Pity

Very good food and nice ambience outside. My girlfriends seabass was slightly overcooked, but everyone else's food was excellent, as is invariably the case at senso. Decent service too - especially for Singapore!

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and sat in courtyard. It was a set meal with 6 courses. Ambience was nice with a bit of old shophouse feel. Service was fine...but nothing personal or interactive about the service - the server would bring one course, not say anything and then come back a bit later and take the plates. Seemed robotic. And the food itself was very disappointing. We got the feeling that everything had been prepared hours before and was plopped on our plates before serving. There was something very missing in terms of freshness and even warmth of a freshly cooked meal. And the dishes that should have been cold were room temp. I’d been to senso maybe 6 years ago because I’d heard nice things but remember being unimpressed as well...for whatever reason thought I’d try again. I won’t be trying a third time.

Lovely ambience and food. I requested for a corner table and I was pleasantly surprised to have been given one. Wait staff were generally nice but it felt a bit strange when one of them shot me a look when we asked for recommendations.

Romantic dinner to celebrate my hubby's birthday. Foods are fanstactic especially the Cacciucco Alla Livornese. Special thanks to the 3 tenors whom sang my husband the Birthday Song beautifully, especially the Manager with his soulful voice.

Bad service and disappointing food. The restaurant had such a horrible team that paid no attention to us. Even when they cleared our plates, they did not ask us if we would like to have our dessert served. It was after almost 15 minutes of waiting we asked the waiter on our dessert and he gave a surprised look. He returned after 5 minutes to tell us that our dessert will be served soon. After another 10 minutes, our dessert was finally served. Throughout the entire visit, the only time that the servers reacted the fastest was when we were asking for the bill. It was an overall disappointing visit.

Good ambience and very nice dining experience. The wait staff is very pleasant and it’s truffles month in January . Overall highly recommended and worthwhile for Singapore!
