Food, ambience, service everything is excellent and especially the view its wonderful

The oysters that we had was superb! We had tapas and appetizer followed by steak. Overall the food was well presented and staff were attentive

We were doing a series of fine dining and SGSB was our fourth. While the ambience was great and the panaromic Singapore skyline from the top was awesome, the food quality leaves much to be desired. It is the only time we didn't finish our meal and that says it all.

We went there for a weekday lunch. The ambience was superb, great view in 360, and we were lucky that it was clear sky sunny day! The restaurant service was good; we were ushered from level 4 to level 55 and to our desired window seat. Throughout the whole dining time, we were well taken care of. Food was a little so-so (steak was more than the ordered-medium, the grill fish more like steam-fish, but the starter bread is to die for!) All in all, for the price I was expecting more but with the nice ambience and good service, I really couldn’t complaint much…. I will go again for the evening/night view, would be nice.

The view is very nice and we had a table on the upper level that after the blinds were raised presented a lovely sunset and view. 4/5 The food: my entree of gnocci was very nice and flavoursome (although I couldnt help wondering if it was canned corn with it :) The wife had foiegras & Scallops was nice - super rich but was meant to be. 4/5 Main: Steak - mine was cooked well and as requested (med/rare) but the wifes steak was quite grissley considering the prices disappointing. Also the truffle butter was way to strong and rich. Fries - well handcut chips :) Brocollini was lovely overall 3/5 really (had better steak at a local in italy!) Dessert: Raspberry cheesecake - gorgeous (5/5) wife had mix of banana parfait (1/5) peanut brittle (2/5) and custard donut (4/5) overall mine 4/5 hers 1/5 Wine: $145 for a $40 bottle as to be expected at these types of restaurants. All in all a $500 meal that should not have cost more than $300 - I have had better high end meals for 1/2 the price. This is Singapore so you are paying for the prestige and view (although nothing special really) but I would have expected a lot more the price - would have been happy for $300 but $500 was over the top considering the quality.

Great restaurant, good food, but most importantly it's the splendid views from the sky of orchard. On a clear day you'll be able to see past the bukit timah vegetations.

Salt Grill is at an excellent location adn with breathtaking views of the city. - a feast for the eyes. the food - had very interesting mix of flavours - distinct yet blends well together - a feast for the stomach and the service was excellent - perfect for special occasions.

The dinner was very good and setting overlooking the city was nice. The room temperature was a little cold. When leaving the mall it was difficult to fin the exit as the stores had closed and along with them the main entry/exit doors were closed.

Salt Grill & Sky Bar has an amazing surrounding view of the city, and is located exclusively at the top level of ION Orchard, making it an ideal place of a romantic date! Was there for the afternoon tea set and service was impeccable. The food quality still has room for improvement though.

Luke is a genius... flavors meld together artfully and elegantly plated. We met Luke in Australia and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant there. Please come to San Francisco, California.

Food is great except that our request to have window seats are rejected even though there are many available. Restaurant assistant manager provide great service.

Very patient staff. Waited for us to snap enough photos before coming over to take our orders. We were seated near windows on a sunny day but not a problem as the ceiling glass are frosted and not warm at all. Food was excellent! Portion just nice. Love the salted caramel cake with great coffee!

The ambience was very good and the ambience was amazing. We ordered steak and they were done to perfection. We will definitely recommend this place to couples who are looking for a romantic dinner location with good food and view.

It was a birthday celebration for my sis-in-law. I arranged for a cake to come out at the end as dessert to wish her. The dessert never came.

The air-con was not cold enough. Service was good as the waiters were attentive and took the trouble to explain when we were in doubt. The food was nice and tastefully presented.
