Great food, great service and not too packed. Portion abit too little

Good quality food but waiting time is very long as it seems to be understaffed and they looked very confused when I was making my order. Hopefully it’s a teething issues as the place has potential.

The food was excellent. Loved the chicken and the dessert. The service was top notch. Very welcoming and informative especially when they explained about the dish. 10/10 experience

Cereal fish bun was great, bun is so soft and fish is fresh and we got the fish “head” curry again! Yummy!

Noodle portion is quite huge for one person. Made a request to have fish “head” curry (dinner menu) and it was served during lunch. Great service!

Places specialising in "local farmers' produce-driven Singaporean cuisine" is certainly not a new concept, but Rustica manages to be one of the better ones I've had (in my books, at least!). The ambience of the cafe is bright and welcoming, and the service staff were so warm, friendly, and enthusiastic. On to the food, we started off with the Crab Bergedil ($11) and Cereal Fish Bun ($12). The bergedil was fragrant and presentation was adorable, but we felt that there could be a stronger punchiness in taste, either from the crab meat or from the spices. A crispier exterior would also be good. On the other hand, the fish bun was excellent - loved the huge slab of crusty snapper fillet, which paired wonderfully with the herby tartar and soft bun For the mains, we shared the Roasted Chicken Crown with White Pepper Sauce ($21), Golden Fish Broth ($25), and the Kailan with Fried Garlic ($14). LOVED all three dishes, and I think a recurring comment we had was the depth of flavour in every one of them. The roasted chicken had smokiness, traditional aromas of ginger and scallion, freshness from the crown daisy, and layered with the delicious white pepper sauce (couldn't stop slurping it up!). The fish broth was also thick, milky, gingery, flavourful, and overall warm and comforting. The kailan was also a surprise hit - the veges were crisp and fresh, and one can never go wrong with fried garlic. The table also gets a pot of Local Herb Rice which by itself is savoury (from the fried shallots) but went well with all the dishes. Washed the fantastic meal down with the SG Lager Beer ($10/btl) and Vanilla Cold Brew ($9). Seriously well-executed dishes, and we enjoyed the unique renditions of local dishes. Definitely recommended for everyone!

We order the breaded fish bun, laksa prawn & fried chicken sando. Fresh fish texture but too much tar tar sauce over power the taste, bun was cold, it nicer its when if it can serve while its hot. My friend like the fried chicken sando, i feel its too oily for my liking. The bread at the bottom soak with oil and got soggy. Thier signature is the laksa prawn but i find is so so, the taupok wrapping the prawn taste bitter and laksa gravy also not leave me any impression. Prawn is firm means is fredh, but can',t blend in with laksa. Ambiance and service are good. Drinks (both coffee & tea) really average & pricy.

Strong flavours in the chili chicken wings. Nice coffee and ondeh tart. The indoor seating area is a little echoey, may be hard to have a conversation if the restuarant is full.

The team was very accommodating in hosting a large group of us (15 pax) and provided us with a wonderful dining experience! The team of chefs did an awesome job designing the dishes to bring out the local flavours in a very unique way.
