The fish hotpot was good & tasty. Spent $300 for 10 pax.

Food was great! Fish head steamboat very good, the broth was flavourful. We love the fried prawn roll (hei zou) too. Will recommend to those who love fish head steamboat.

The fish head soup is not bad. Ordered a 4 pax set menu which include chicken, prawns, tofu and some mincemeat wrap. The food is a bit overpriced for the portion served.

Ordered a mini-steamboat red grouper fish and sambal kangkong. The soup is nice and good, but later part when the lower part of the soup is kind of salty due to the sour plum. The price has increased, Quando needs to update the price.

Another place to have one of Singapore’s favourite communal dish, fish head soup or He Tao Lor as it is commonly known in Hokkien. True to tradition, the soup comes in the usual metal pot with burning charcoal in the centre that keeps your soup piping hot. I like the soup here. It’s thick but not overly salty. The Batang fish we chose did not come with a single bone so I was impressed. Fish was very fresh. The other dishes we had were all good. Prices are very reasonable and the Zhi char faire is above average standards. Worth a go.

This is still one of the best traditional steamboat in Singapore. All dishes were delicious and staff was great in recommending the right dishes. Highly recommended for family and friends gathering.

Be prepared to wait during dinner hours. Not much shelter if it rains. Overall a very value for money and comfort place to visit for fish head steamboat.

The red grouper fish soup was good. The prawn roll was good too. Pork belly was soft and not as fatty. The fried chicken wing was so so only. Overall experience was good except abit costly on the dishes
