The food was ok, there was No set menu so we asked the waitress about the size of the Main course. She said it was small portions. We all four decided to take a main course and ordered some extra vegetables. This to avoid paying for two courses each. The size of the main courses was fine so we felt she had tried to make us buy more. All in all the food taste very good, but the wine is really far too expensive. Would you allow people to bring their own wine? Then we would come more often.
Food is good but unfortunately, service was lacking. Poor service. Bill was presented at least 10 mins before table was due. A pleasant start but poor ending.
Overall concept was interesting as their products are fresh and a fusion between western and local food in their dishes. Thumbs up for great service! Food wise so so? only?
The service is very friendly and open to special request. Eating outside is a very nice experience as it is not noisy and you enjoy some nice fragrance coming from the garden. I really appreciated the snapper and the soups are delicious .
Delicious food across the board. Very attentive staff has a small play area for little kids outside. Ambiance is good as well. Super nice place for brunch. Book well in advance.
Oasis in a concrete jungle; food was delicious but expensive.
Beautiful environment, attentive host, creative food. Been here a number of times and I will still be back :) Love the daytime better because of the sunlight streaming into the restaurant through its ceiling to floor windows.
We were a group of 4 and had a pleasant night out at the restaurant last evening. For mains, we ordered the lamb shank with couscous, oxtail (albeit a little heavy handed with the salt) with pasta, barramundi and Jurong frog legs (starter as main) and all were good. We ordered 2 desserts to share and the spiced pumpkin cake and lemon tart did not disappoint except for the basil ice cream which was rather uninteresting. Service were attentive but not intrusive. There was a large group of 10 at another table, so noise level was naturally elevated. But altogether it was a pleasant dining experience with good food and company in a relaxed rustic setting.
Food was good. Ambience was excellence. We enjoy the dinner there. Is a beautiful restaurant. i love the open layout whereby guest can look at the Chef at work n detailed arrangement on the food whenis being served.
A little bit overpriced with 5 leaves of lettuce for $17 with some chicken breast. Nonetheless food presentations are pretty but I would say that the dishes are overpriced for their portion.
Enjoyed the ambience at open farm community accompanied with really delicious food which tasted fresh. The only down side is the limited capacity of the restaurant.
Love the atmosphere and concept. Its also pet friendly. The laksa fish dish was really tasty. The staff really friendly and full of smiles. We would love to come again
Great place for kids as there's loads for them to see and do with animals and plants in the surroundings. But service can b improved.
Great ambience and great food. Perfect restaurant for a date this Valentine's. Recommend to try their coconut laska barramundi. It's totally worth the money. 👍🏻
Good atmosphere and food. Good proportion of the food. Combination of cuisines are very unique, especially the grouper burger. It would be great if the space are fully utilized
A very delightful evening - serenity and soul-food combined to make it a memorable date night with my husband. Will certainly be back for the amazing watercress soup!
Glad to be back af the OFC - friendly and attentive service, interesting menu and very flavoursome food in an informal yet pleasant setting. Wine by the glass also very nice. Overall not cheap but certainly good value for money - the food really is delicious.
Good ambience with outdoor area, hip place, would recommend for brunch or lunch. Restaurant is near to other restaurants in Dempsey area, Tanglin and Botanic Gardens.
The place is so lovely and the staff very good. We expected more about the food. We thought that the price was a little hight.
I had been before for lunch about 2 months ago . I really enjoyed the high standard and quality of the food . I went again this time in the evening I was very disappointed wth the food . The service was good but the food was far from great . I think it's a place for lunch . It won't be a place I'd choose to go for dinner .
Some of the dishes we ordered were too salty eg. The chicken skin in Chicken roulade and the pickled veg. The gnocchi and mushroom taste was not even.
Great menu, great food and wine. Very imaginative and different. Only problem was the noise level which made conversation rather difficult even on a table of four.
Great atmosphere and lovely food - the cocktail bucket we got in particular was really great and worth it. Also love the fusion dishes such as the Thai curry pasta.
Just love the environment here where you can be surrounded by a nice garden with air-con on! The 3 of us have ordered the savory crepe, red grouper burger and 63 degree egg. All the food are very nice especially the savory crepe. The crepe itself is soft and warm. Highlight is the quail eggs. Berry smoothie is also recommended.
I chosen a lamb shank which was just nice as my wish
Attentive service & child friendly. Every plate that was sent out was played beautifully. Great place to bring the kids for the weekend. My son enjoyed walking around the garden & watching the chickens after the meal
Began with a salad with broccoli and feta which was superb. Could have eaten it all night ! Then Risotto, perfectly cooked and very delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. Will continue to return to OFC.
The initial server did not have enough information about the menu. Nothing on the menu that was gluten free except the salad in the vegetarian selection
An open and cozy ambience overlooking greenery . Great place to chill . Had a lemon tart which gives a tangy taste yet not too sweet with a perfect combination of basil ice cream . Would love to go back to try other dishes.
Food: The warm salad is excellent, their new set lunch is good as well. Dessert- the lemon tart & basil ice cream must try! Ambience: It was rather noisy because of hard floor, and glass panels - could hardly hear each other unless you raise your voice a little more than normal. Service: Staff were smiley, attentive & helpful.
Casual yet chic. I loved sitting outside and enjoyed a delicious meal with an old Friend. The garden brings a great sense of calm to the restaurant and makes it easy to sit back and relax.
Potion is small, but the environment is amazing , service staff need to be more attentive to guest requests. Otherwise a great experience that can be fine tuned.
Service was good, food was delicious and ambiance was very comfortable. Perhaps there should be indication of vegetarian on the menu or provide a few more vegetarian choices.
Excellent food and very nice outdoor atmosphere. We loved being able to enjoy the pretty garden. Service was polite and prompt. Food was very fresh with a variety of options available suitable for vegetarians.
Heard good reviews from colleagues who had attended a wedding there so had to try it for myself. Food presentation was great but food flavours didn't quite make the mark for the price we paid for the appetizers and main courses.
Awesome place with fresh food, great ambience for a morning brunch!
The service was attentive and pleasant. The food was good and the atmosphere of the resturant was warm and cosy. We ordered the baby eegplant as a starter and it was good. Tried the lamb shank and the meat was tender. We had the spiced pumpkin cake as dessert but I find the spices overwhelming. I would choose to go back there again.
Had been there for lunch & dinner. Food was ok but the atmosphere is just too noisy to talk. Though the garden outside is impressive
Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff service and at affordable prices. That will be fantastic if restauranter can be increase selection of menu. To sum it up,definitely will be back!
The salads were very small and didn't seem to have any really excitement to them. Also the noise of the room made eating lunch a most unappealing experience. Service was excellent
Excellent service and great food! Nice outdoor garden - you can take a look at the various plants and herbs being grown there. Definitely will be going back!
I really enjoyed the food and the space. Great way to start the weekend. I would definitely come back again to try their dinner menu and drinks.
Lovely embience, coffee was rich in aroma and the combination of ingredients made the lemon tart distinctively tasteful . Will be back to try the main menu .
Was out second time in OFC. Food is excellent, they specialize on giving new tasty to traditional meals. We had pasta with crab and thai sauce, hot btoccoli salad, charred eatermelon with tarragon ice-cream, lemon tart with basil ice-cream. Everything was very tasty. Will come back soon But, the service was bad. They must improve the service.
Great dining, wonderful staff. Would recommend this restaurant for a relaxed girls lunch.
Friendly staff and attentive We love the alfresco dining area Feel like in a kampung house
Service was great and attentive. Food taste is unqiue and with its fusion style of preparation induced in its menu, taste is highly subjective to individuals diners preferences.
The food is a amazing. Beautifully presented and flavours fresh and delicious. Service is very good and a great place to catch up for lunch. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
The food taste is ok but the service is slow due to shortage of staff. The aircon is not strong enough during hot afternoon. The red grouper burger is quite ok but the lemon dessert is so so
Unique concept; good, nature environment seated within farm; tasty food.
