With all the pictures and reviews, I was expecting something nice at this place but was left rather disappointed. The food was rather bland especially their specialties which was the crabs. Service was not great either.... Do not think there will be a second visit ever again.

The chili crab was very good and the mantu was outstanding. I also enjoy the yu sheng. I wasn't thrilled they charged for the little cup of peanuts on the table and the wet towelette without letting you know they weren't included. Also, the service was just ok. Overall I would still recommend it but know ahead of time about those charges

Small restaurant but great crab and buns but only wish both crab were the same size though as the chilli crab was allot bigger than pepper crab.

Fantastic food and great service. I ordered the chilli crab and was delighted by the generous serving. Also, the crab served is extremely fresh! Highly reccommended!

One of the best places I've ever been for Singapore chili crab. The grilled squid was amazing. Really 'light' and easy to eat with the punchy chilli paste next to it (if you dare!). The buns were the biggest I've ever seen. Highly recommend the 2 person share platter with your choice of crab, cray fish, vegetables, grilled squid and ice cream! Plus a barley drink or water cress, and option to upgrade to another drink for a minimal amount. Service was second to none. Food came out in a timely manner, and the ambience was just perfect. We will be back again!

Great food and great service! Really nice touch to take a photo of us. The chili crabs were NOT too spicy and we both really enjoyed them.

Great service but not so great food. Maybe the main Chef was not around. The food was totally different from the previous reviews we read. Every dish was bland. Service was great though. Not sure if I will be back again but I know the rest of my party won't.

The crab served seemed a little bit cold but the taste was excellent. The bread was delicious and my kids loved it. Apron was not given so guest must be careful not getting the spilling on their clothes. A small bowl for cleanin g the hands may be considered for hygeiene purpsoses.

2nd time that I was here! We ordered the buttercrab and chilicrab! It is really not expensive compared what you get in the city. we love the fried buns and the picture that you get as a souvenir is a great bonus!

Really nice place. The red chili crab was as delicious as we hoped. The stingray was great too. We will go back. Oh, and also very friendly staff.

Our visit was disappointing this time, the salt fish fried rice was tasteless. The waiting staff had to be constantly reminded to do things, to provide things and did not smile at all. The crab was not as fresh as on our previous visits. The staff did not say thank you when we left.

The taste of Pepper Crab is a bit sweat to me. It seems better to stir (fry) it more. 12$ for a small bottle of Tiger Beer is a bit expensive. Overall hospitality is low.

Friendly staff, prompt service and nice ambience for a family dinner experience. If you wish to have the same meal experience, please make your reservation way ahead to avoid any disappointment.

The food was interesting but mainstay of food e.g. crab was average. Service was OK, staff was polite. good experience overall but a bit overpriced

Very good personal service , you know the price before you eat crab which is rare these days. Enjoyed it and sure to return next time in Singapore.

We read about this place on trip advisor. Had chili crab once before at one of the best chili crab restaurants in Singapore (I was told this). Have to say this was the equal of the previous restaurant. Small place so reservations are a necessity but the food was great. Cab driver had trouble finding the place but we set him straight. Would make the trip again just for the crab. Thank you Momma Kong's

The best chilly crab in Singapore. Not too hot just right amount of heat. Crab meet was so sweet and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend, book ahead to ensure a table.

We had 3 crabs, Chilli crab black pepper and crab Beehoon. Fresh and taste good! Also had the stingray and veg. Will definitely come back for more

Very near to China town 5MRT, like 3 mins walk. Great service, fresh seafood. Served bear. Good value for the price. Overall quite nice experience.

Food was excellent. Service great. So much food that despite being 8 guys we could not eat up from 2x dinner for 4. This was second time I have had dinner there.

Easily accessible location, reasonably priced and yummalicous crabs, with attentive and friendly service by the staff made our dining experience a pleasure. My friends who have never been here are pleased to have tried it.

Food was good. Ambience and service was alright. Only gripe was that we had to give up table at 7.50 for the 8.00pm reservations even though we have not finished our meal.

Best chili crab ever! So tender and tasteful. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you visit Singapore forget the sea side fish reastaurants for crab this is THE place to be! I will be back :)

We were 4 persons and ordered their dinner menu for 4. There was enough food to get us all full and I love their child crab and buns! Will go there again.

We got few starters and a set of 3 crabs (deshelled): chili, butter, black pepper. Awesome as usual! Great food and great location. Always recommended

Food was good in general. Crab is fresh & succulent. The white pepper crab came lukewarm which is a let down.

Good crab bee hoon in soup. Maybe a fried variety next? Fresh crabs, sweet and succulent. Attentive service makes for a good overall dining experience.

I have ordered the 2 pax set menu ($118++) set meal. The chilli crab was taste great and fresh, matched well with the fried and steamed mantous. Cereal Crayfish was very fresh and pretty good too. Grilled squid was ok, as the grilling taste was too bitter. Stir fried Dou Miao was a total disappointment because it was so bland. The black sesame and passion fruit gelato was not bad.

Momma Kongs makes the most delicious chilli crab! Absolutely the best I've ever had. Staff are friendly and helpful. Could not recommend them highly enough.

Chilli crab sauce is quite unique unlike the classic style and taste. Suitable for patron who is looking for something different. We ordered set for 2 + a few more dishes. The portion is just right for small eaters (4 ladies). Serving speed is good too.

The place is trendy and clean, but the food is a little lacking in my opinion. Out of the three crab dishes, the chili crab is tasty but obviously not enough gravy, the pepper crab is so so, the crab beehoon is quite good though.. The buns are good. However the Dou Miao (veggie) was too dry... The crab dishes would have been better if they are served with more gravy... Staff are friendly. If you want a trendy hangout for very local zhichar this is a nice place to be seen. if you are looking for authentic crab dishes, it may not fit the bill.

The staffs are all very friendly and the ambience is very clean n cosy despite the snall place. Food is good too. Will visit afain.

Overrated unfortunately. Flavors lacking in both chili and black pepper crab. I am forced to enter a minimum of 25 words but seriously the food doesn't deserve that many.

Convenient location, small but spacious environment, and good food!! I think this is enough but minimum twenty five words are needed... so so so so....

Staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating. Crabs are fresh, yummy and reasonably priced. Environment is clean, cosy and well equipped (each of us get a set of crab eating apparatus). What more can you ask for?

The food itself was good although given that the only table available was indoors, the food got cold very fast. The service was ok though a little more attentiveness and manners never hurt anyone. Overall I wouldn't go back again considering the price tag slapped on the meal.

Excellent! Fresh, tasty and great service. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. My new favourite place for Crab, tried 3 different styles and concluded that grilled cooking style is the yummiest :)

Great food, especially the crab and services. I ordered the chili crab, fried mantou (love it!), bacon crisp, and fried rice. Overall, I like the cozy ambience and quiet. Good place to go with family and friends. Will definitely come back again.

Great service, and good for them to follow up to confirm the reservation. Overall atmosphere is good, food is great, just hope for more flexibility in the set meal where customers can choose to top up for change to a dish which they like

Crabs are good, with lots of roe and full flesh. Soup tasty too. The bee hoon also nicely done. Service is prompt and friendly and environment is cozy

The service was good. The fried man tou was crispy and goes awesomely well with the chilli crab sauce. Sambal kang kong was really spicy and shiok for someone who loves spicy food.

The dishes were so nice,but a bit expensive for us. When we were having a dinner, two waiters were serving. They both gave us good and friendly services which we got a relax.

Been here a few times, never had the chili crab... wasn't bad... my usual favorite black pepper was kind of bland... but the buns were awesome and sinful.

Served amazing food and experienced impeccable service as always, first timers loved it. Definitely an address to add on to the crustacean / seafood cravings list.
