Great food and generous quantity. The lunch set is very worth it. One of the better buah keluak that I’ve eaten in awhile.

A taste of home with authentic perakan flavour. Bane pongteh and sambal kangkung are must try.

Being a really long time since I’ve had a meal at Ivins. Sadly it was a disappointing experience as all the food was soooo salty. Couldn’t even finish what we ordered because it was just too salty

We enjoyed the food they prepared; it is flavourful without being too salty (except for the sambal udang). It is the first time we have Peranankan food, and we were not disappointed! Service staff is quick to respond and their food is served fast. Our table filled up shortly after placing the orders. The reviews we read are not overstated. Overall, the visit met our expectations. We will go back a second time!

tasty nasi lemak set with beef rendang as mains. tender meat albeit quite salty! dessert was pulot hitam, quite delicious though could be served warmer 😋

Ivins Peranakan restaurant at Heartland Mall, Kovan serves tasty peranakan dishes at reasonable prices. Their set menu is also value for money. Have eaten at other Ivins outlets too with family and friends and they said dishes are tasty though the varieties may be a little limited. Eating at Ivins is never disappointed.

Everything is good and substantial, except for the chap chye and bubur chacha which have an off taste.

Decent food with set menu prices, hard to find fare

We made a reservation for 4 pax , so waiting time was not an issue. We ordered our favourites - bakwan kepiting, beef rendang, nonya chap chye, udang masak nanas and ayam goreng rempah. The food was satisfying, and service staff were attentive. All in all, it was an enjoyable dining experience.

Food was good. Staff was attentive and gave us an extra bowl as we had 3 desserts but had 4 people. Did not have to queue as I made a reservation.
