Hua Ting Steamboat 华厅鲜火锅

This is my 2nd visit. Standard well maintained. Soup is tasty. Good variety of soup, food choices and condiments. Attentive and friendly service. Cosy environment.

Food is so so. Service is bad. Seating arrangement is way too close to other table. Overpriced in my opinion. It's a pity since Hua Ting Restaurant is good but the steamboat joint is so bad!

Food is not bad, I got the 1-for-1 set meal. Though the food lookks little, but it’s actually quite filling for 2 of us. However, if not for the 1-for-1, I would find the price a little expensive for the amount of food.

We ordered the herbal and shark bone broth, both were very tasty. Ingredient were fresh and great choices of sauces and condiments to choose from. With UOB 1 FOR 1, value for every $!

All the dipping condiments are SWEET! The SHA CHA sauce, the black vinegar, the soya sauce (tasteless too).. it kinda spoil the taste of the food. It’s a shame coz the ingredients are really fresh and flavours are good esp the fish paste balls. Meat a bit too thick. Would be nice if it’s more of the Shabu Shabu thinness. Staff there are very friendly and helpful esp the male manager.

This is my first visit in Hua Ting,so impressed with soup base winter melon,plus the staff here was really so nice with good service....👍👍👍👍👍 Definitely will be there again!

Excellent soup based steamboat and fresh variety of food with tasty sauce.

Service is good, fresh food. Good serving portion. Worth to go when they have buffet promo. Hope they will extend their buffet promo after August

food is great especially their special drunken crab soup base the portion of food got small and big, for example Small beef will be 4 pieces UOB/ Citi bank CC got discount

Healthy tasting soup. Food was average. Aircon was a little cold. Not sure about value for money. Used UOB one for one promotion. Would not go if there was no promotion.

Good steam boat with wide variety of sauces/condiments. Would have preferred to have wider menu choices, especially in the choice of vegetables and bean curds.

Hua Ting vs Hai de lau: Food: 3 vs 5 Service: 4 vs 5 Ambient: 4 vs 3 Seafood and Soup are definitely overrated in many reviews. Many other restaurants serve equal or better quality

The soup base is good and I didn't feel thirsty at all after the meal, which is usually the case even with some fine-dining restaurants. The ingredients are fresh and the selection of condiments is wide and unique. Overall a good dining experience.

Food was good and fresh. The soup base was delicious and after eating, it didn't feel like there was lots of msg like other steamboat soup base. The ambience was nice and quiet for small family get togethers. Basically, I was very happy with the experience.

Fantastic soup base choice of shark bone and chinese yam. Super fresh seafood of live prawns, scallop and garoupa. Excellent service by the waiters. We enjoyed the dinner very much.

Good service, friendly staff and food served were fresh. Only down side is that the variety of food choices is limited. Otherwise, a rather good place for steamboat!
