Love the ambience and absolutely delicious fries and wagyu burger.

Food and drinks ok. Easy to order and quickly served before a show at the Capitol Theatre.

Good services n friendly staff . They even gave us sample shots to try! The steak was very tendered and the brussel sprouts are very yummy

Staff were not customer oriented. Food was served as though they were in a rush. Just plank on the table and go. Our party of 6 finished our meal for quite some time and one staff came and cleared 2 of our party plates and did not continue to clear the rest. It was only after much later when we ordered desserts, did they start to clear our table. Music was also too loud that I feel we had to strain our ears to listen to our conversation. Food was a hit and miss but overall was okay.

Repeat visit again. Their cereal prawn burger is really good. Love it

Ordered SG restaurant week 5 cause dinner. It took 1 hr 15 mins for them to serve everything. The longest waiting time was 20 mins for the 3rd dish and main course. My daughter and I were starving and we thought food would taste nicer when we were so hungry. However, the main course was extremely disappointing. I ordered smoked beef cheek and it was the toughest beef cheek I ever had in my life and lots of gristles. My girl ordered lobster hokkien mee, the “lobster” is extremely rubbery, I struggled to cut it into smaller pieces, in the end we gave up chewing on it. Cocktail I ordered was fancy and creative. In short, disappointed and won’t come back again.

Food was passable but service was bad. Waitresses constantly looking lost/can’t be bothered, took a long time for food to be served.

This is a repeat visit and favourite dining spot for me. The service is super prompt and friendly - I have had the same high quality treatment whether I dine alone, or with friends. I love the fact that the restaurant serves a little amuse-bouche and sourdough bread while we wait for our food to be served. It's a degree of thoughfulness in their hospitality that is rarely seen in other restaurants in Singapore. Also, in my opinion, they serve the best fries in the whole country. For that alone, it's worth coming back again.

I intend to work my way through the set lunches at this restaurant - the food is delicious, the portions are good and the waiting time is short, which is what we need when we have to return to work. My friend was really impressed with the duck confit, and said the lobster bisque was worth the upgrade.

Hopscotch Capitol is a lovely restaurant with a cosy ambiance, perfect for a casual night out. The food is delicious with well-executed dishes that are both flavourful and beautifully presented. Their cocktails are the highlight — creative, refreshing, and definitely a must.

Venue was clean and easily accessable via MRT. The food for dinner was good & prices reasonable. After our dinner, we were able to continue with our conversations without being hurried. Overall good venue for dining & catching up with friends.

With all the TikTok featuring this restaurant, thought the food would be amazing but it was nothing to scream about. Firstly, the waiter claimed the batch of lobster bisque is not to standard so they could only serve mushroom soup, which was too salty. Mains were served cold and the pork ribs were tasteless without the sauce.

So conveniently located. Much food variety and life in the area of a Friday evening. Thumbs up!

Hopscotch serves interesting and fancy cocktails, making it a great spot for a fun night out. The drinks are creative and well-crafted, but prices can be on the higher side. It’s worth checking for available vouchers to make the experience more value-for-money. A good place to visit if you’re looking for unique cocktails.

1. There are some staff who are not attentive enough, e.g. the staff who was indecisive in allocating tables to us; we asked for an addition chair but the staff noted and never comes back; our drinks took awhile to come until we had to ask again; the staff who was unclear in explaining the menu to us. All the above happened in just one visit.. 2. The music was too loud, therefore people around are talking loudly, and hence we had to raise our voice to speak.

Affordable price especially for the lunch set and very generous portion.

Came by as I had bought a Chope 1-for-1 mains voucher during one of their sales. The seating was a little bit cramped, such that if I held my hands out I think i could reach for the neck of the adjacent guests. Not ideal for dates (or for sharing private gossip). Also, the chairs are really uncomfortable, like, they were too low and not compatible with the height of the table. In any case, we settled for the Chilli Lobster Malfadine ($30) and the Sweet and Sour Sticky Pork Ribs ($27). First things first, both dishes were served at room temperature - which in an air-con environment, meant it was almost cold! Did not like that at all. For the pasta, the sauce is reminiscent of the likes of chilli crab, though with lobster (a somewhat tough and obviously frozen lobster). Overall, felt it was somewhat one-dimensional and the poor quality of the lobster meat really let the dish down. The pork ribs was, putting aside the coldness of it, actually fall-off-the-bone. Kudos to that! The sauce leaned heavily towards the sweet side (barely any zestiness/tanginess/sourness) and did not add much. I also missed any semblance of char or caramelisation that would have added an oomph to the meat. The achar and crackers were nice, and I have to give a special shoutout to the baby potatoes because they were so damn GOOD!! BUT they only gave 4 - FOUR - small halves?? That's absurd! All in all, thought the dishes we had had so much more to improve on, and while the service we received was decent, there were some dissatisfaction / confusion / miscommunication at our adjacent table which we were full on spectators of - the tables are that close - to which I thought "hey luckily it didn't happen to us". Overall, would I return? Eghh only if I had some vouchers to take advantage of, else I would much rather spend the money on other quality resto-bars.

I’ve been there a few times and always enjoyed the drinks and food. When I arrived, the floor was dirty with food from the previous guests but staff were prompt to clean up.
