Ginza Lion - Suntec

Great place to eat and chill, with good food and beer. I love the Ginza Lion Platter especially, which comprises pork ribs, grilled chicken, fried chicken, angus beef, fries etc. Depending on everyone's appetite, it can easily feed 3 to 5 people. Recommended to go on the 9th, 19th and 29th of each month for the promotional items. During this period, the Platter is priced at $99/- (U.P: $118/-).

Food is good, all staffs are very friendly and attentive. Will visit again in future.

We ordered pork rib, ton katsu, soft shell crab pasta and tempura with ramen. Every one of the dishes were excellent. Special mention on the pork fillet; it’s crispy, tender and just melt-in-your mouth. The pasta was delicious and flavourful. We will definitely be back.

1. The Roasted Beef was a bit too raw for our liking, not sure if we had a choice cos i arrived late and it was ordered by my friends. 2. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get the attention of the service staff when the restaurant was not that crowded actually. They were standing around the bar counter and a couple of times they avoided eye contact with us. Is it because we were having buffet? the less order the merrier? This was like our 3rd or 4th time to Ginza, and I felt that each time the service and food quality dipped a little.

Tried their tonkatsu this time round, not too shabby. Service remains inattentive and isn't spontaneous - a definite area of improvement here. Overall, a cosy restaurant to have quality food.

The roast beef salad was a good and tasty meal.

Back again to have the Angus roast beef, but portion size seemed diminished. Service was impersonal though there wasn't any lunch crowd - not sure why the first visit fared better. Meanwhile their tonkatsu set meals beckon for another outing :)

Roast beef that never fails! I had the don this time instead of the usual slab. Meat tasted just as good with rice and miso soup. Oishii and definitely filling with generous portions of roast beef. Recommended :)

A cool bar and diner setting. We had the burrata and Parma ham which was superb as starters. Seafood salad was not bad. Main courses were the Tonkatsu.

Food was absolutely amazing. We ordered rib eye and unagi don platter. Ribeye was juicy and tender and unagi don was really flavorful. The atmosphere was great, it was quiet and a good view looking at the bar. Great service, attentive and polite waitress !
