We are happy and satisfied with the quality of the food, the servings are big and wirth thr price. It is tasty not too oily and not too salty. Overall the food tasted and suit our taste. Except for the steam fresh prawns which we are not satisfied either the quality of the texture of the steamed prawns. After we notified the waiter, she immediately bring the plate of prawns back to the kitchen and get back to inform that a new dish of our choice will be replaced. We selected the salted egg prawns. It turn very fresh and tasted very good. Our overall experience eating at Gim Seng Heng Seafood was good. We will introduce this restaurant ti our friends and relatives. We will come back to eat again.

Dangui duck tasted more like salted duck. Not prepared in-house. Can skip.

Went to try this old school zi char. Food is good. However, most of the dishes only 1 size. So it's better to go with more pax to eat together. Service is good too

Good food and portions were large to share. Great for families or large groups.

Potato leaf vegetable was good. Pork rib king was ok. Chilli crab was not good. Gravy was off the mark. Crab shell was hard and very thick to crack. Cook did not break the shell so we ended up not able to eat the we good part of the crab. Somehow the crab meat was not sweet at all. Don’t get big crab as their crab shell is thick and hard so you have heavy crab with little meat. The pincer is faulty with no handle protect so it did not help. Moreover the crab was very expensive even by Long beach standard.

Food was great and valued for money. Ambient can be very noisy until the tables from the RC group left.

Overall food is good, very large portions. We had a dish of prawns which was very overcooked, but to be fair the waiter has warned that it is not their popular dish when we ordered. Portion of the prawns was huge too though.

Nice place . We selected a set meal. Food quantity is generous but quality so-so.

The ambiance was good, we ordered hotplate tofu, it was served hot, ordered XO Asparagus with scallop but the scallop was cold, the salted egg prawns and prawn paste chicken wings were nice. There were no salted egg paste for the crab. It tasted like butter crab. Overall, I will give 7 points for the food and ambiance.

Dining area(non aircon) WOS humid, food was ok only, steamed garlic prawn over steamed far too long, tell the server n there isn’t any comment from the kitchen

Went on a weekend but choices were limited. Wish they keep up with the variety of food.
