Fratini La Trattoria

I'd never been to a restaurant where patrons cannot choose their own dinners, but something told me there was a reason this was so. I was right. The 6 course meal was extraordinary. The cold appetizers were like mini explosions of taste. The hot appetizers were delicious. I never cared for lamb until I tasted it at La Trattoria. The pasta was superb and cooked just right. The desserts were heavenly. If you enjoy being pampered and sampling a wide array of tasty food, perfectly paired with wines, try Fratini La Trattoria.

Excellent restaurant, great food with superb service. The degustation meal was great, serving was just nice and every dish was explained thoroughly. I will be back :)

The food and service was great, and more importantly, the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner and we will definitely go back again.

great place. they have no menu but ask what are your food restrictions. the whole thing is a big surprise (even the wine by glass the owner chose for us), you dont know what to expect. really too much food in small portions, everything absolutely delicious. price is worth it, we paid 90++ per pax, it can be more if you have a special request. owner and staff were super friendly, he explained where he gets his fresh ingredients every morning. we can taste the difference. absolutely recommended :D

We enjoyed 5-6 appetizer which are well prepared and tasty. The spaghetti is al dente. The services is excellent. I want to try a dinner set.

Excellent food! The place is amazing! The best thing is you don't have to make a choice! It's made for you! But all the food is to die for, the service is impeccable!

Great food. With a few "buts". 1) Should not have staff carrying dirty pots and pans traversing the dining area. 2) Did not ask if we wanted wine; we had to flag a waiter to ask for it. In an upscale Italian restaurant? 3) Said coffee machine broke down. Did not offer alternative, such as drip coffee.

Too much meat, very limited greens or vegetables, but meat dishes were excellent, great service, very special place. Wine was wonderful. 8 courses actually seemed to be too much food but reasonably priced for quality

Reservation was made for dinner two weeks ago via "quandoo". I like the way how they serve our dinner. No menu, Just sit back and relax.

Very pleasant staff, great food, and some excellent wine (ask for the other premium wines). Not silver service but ticks all the other boxes. Sit at the bar and watch the food preparation.

Interesting Italian omakase. Kitchen was very helpful to cater to our last minute dietary request. Special mention to the beef cheek and truffle pasta and the wonderful tiramisu. Will come back for dinner!

Bright, entertaining staff. The food was generally very good,with a few misses . I thought it strange to serve an (excellent) entree of lobster after a serve of beef cheek. The desserts were a knockout .

My wife and I went for an anniversary meal and it was excellent. From the minute we entered the restaurant we knew it would be a place we will visit time and time again whilst we are staying in Singapore. The appearance and ambience of the restaurant was professional but very welcoming we were shown to our table and shortly afterwards the chef came and introduced himself, he enquired as to our food and taste preferences which was easy for my tastes but a little more difficult for my wife who does not eat meat, shellfish or cheese. After taking this information away with him the chef produced totally different meals for us which were excellent both in presentation and taste and the attention to detail was second to none. The staff maintained a good rapport with clientele and each other ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

We went here for our wedding anniversary and it was a truly perfect dinner. Relaxed and friendly fine dining. The chef was brilliant and the waiter recommended a fabulous wine. Best Italian food I've had in Singapore and possibly anywhere outside of Italy. Loved it. We'll be back.

Great food, friendly, family-like atmosphere. Food is both creative and comforting, and portions are generous. Nice to have several different hot & cold appetizers, as well as desserts, for a wider variety, instead of the usual starter-entree-main-dessert menu.

Excellent food. Wonderful and cheerful staff. Nice relaxed ambience. We had a lovely selection of cold and and hot appetisers, pasta and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the night out. Valet parking a plus on a busy Sunday night.

Excellant, good food, attentive services, friendly. .8 starters, a pasta dish and a desert is a lot, make sure you take a hungry person with you if your appetite isn't large.

Food quality was good and the portions were generous. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about food & wine. I brought my husband for his birthday and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

Wonderful experience dining there with my wife. Food was excellent and service was superb. Will definitely visit it again to try new food as there is no menu.

Overall an enjoyable experience, but would have appreciate more interaction with the chef - he only introduced the first and second course. Other reviews that I read suggested that he would take us through each course. The food was generally good, especially the pasta which is imported from Italy.

Superb. Fratini is an icon of the Singapore restaurant scene and he did not disappoint. I could have left after the multiple appetizers and been satisfied, but the pasta with seafood was worth waiting for (even if it required a loosening of my belt).

Excellent lunch - everything was delicious and service wonderful. Great not to have to make a menu choice. Just sit back and enjoy! Definitively would recommend this restaurant.

The staffs are friendly and the food is awesome. I like the experience of dinning without menu. Chef Gabriel is able to dish out his best creation of the day to the diners.

This restaurant was amazing!! We LOVED the food and the service was friendly and accommodating. You can tell Chef Fratini is not only good at his job but that he loves it. Although the meal and drinks were a bit expensive, I would go back in an instant for course after course of delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts.

A very memorable night at Fratini. There was no menu at the restaurant so all the dishes come as a surprise. Very appealing plating and great taste. They offer wines with a reasonable price yet decent quality. Love the cozy atmosphere, would definitely return.

Excellent food. Reminded me of the great food I enjoyed in Italy couple of years also. And always exciting to have a no-menu concept. We really like the constant engagement of the service staff with us to check how we liked the food.

Food was great and the service was excellent. Easy to get too via public transport. Lots of dishes using high quality produce. Lots of decent wines by the glass.

Fantastic food and an overall great dining experience as there was no menu and every course was another culinary surprise. The pasta dishes are to die for and the 4 of us had a wonderful time. Prices are definitely on the high side but then again, TOP class food!

Nice concept, excellent food, great service. Don't be in a rush as there is plenty of time to chat and relax as the head chef decides what he is serving you next. Very enjoyable experience.

Refreshing service.. Very attentive and polite staff. The chef even explains what he wants to prepare for you. Just need an open mind as you wont know what You will get until they actually serve it. I liked at least 7/10(estimate) of the dishes. Desserts were excellent though!!!

Nice variety of dishes served with great taste and excellent service. However, I with they could have the option for diners to choose a menu with lesser dishes as my friend and I have small appetite so we ended up wasting a lot of food after 4th or 5th course served......

Highly recommended, food is great, value for money, great dining experience, friendly staff. It was an unforgettable experience for my partner and I and we are looking forward to return again.

Fantastic service and food. Food is also priced very reasonably. The tiramisu and the passion fruit deserts were the highlight of the meal, for me. Would definitely go back for more.

This restaurant is outstanding, not inexpensive by any means but the quality and the experience makes this a true destination spot. The cuisine stands with the best and what the chef shares, both personally and professionally, make this a memorable evening.

Unpretentious, quality ingredients, generous portions and great wine, finished with a lovely dessert and glass of limoncello. We had a fantastic evening. We will be coming back soon hopefully.
