The food here is really quite decent, and it is relatively affordable

Disappoint with the quality and serving of food. First and last time

Food was good; service was terrible. The restaurant can’t handle so many tables.

Food was reasonably good. Only bummer was the time limitations to finish up within specific time range depending on number of pax turning up. Overall serving speed was fast and services were decent.

They cannot cope with the volume of customers. Many dishes are not available or have to wait for very long. Very disappointing encounter.

The steamed halibut was good, but at market prices. The oyster omelette had almost no oysters, but we also liked the ngoh hiang and the chai poh kway teow. The duck platter was okay, if a tad gamey in taste.

The dishes recommended, ba bao duck and spinach with abalone mushrooms, are over-rated and over priced. Servers are not all friendly. Not sure if they can understand us (as some are non Chinese)

Nestlssd in an old and not prominent building, I was surprised by the crowd the eating place draws. The prawn crackers & achar appetizers are very yummy. Sambal chilli is fantastic too. Dishes recommended : lotus seeds chicken, steamed vegetables, yam paste (for dessert.

Crab and Pomfret was fantastic. The oyster omelette was bad. The atmosphere is authentic. But service was slow. Overall it was a nice dinner with my family on my birthday.

1st time dining at Fragrant Garden. My family of 10 ordered 8 items excluding drinks. Ordered most of the recommended items but the most preferred are the steamed Halibut & the braised cabbage. The rest are so-so.

The service staff no smiling face and forgotten to serve us drinks. The oyster omelette is over cooked and burnt.

Delicious food and prompt service. Never fails to disappoint our family (from young to old) who has been dining at Fragrant Garden for at least a decade. Our regular dishes that taste good consistently are the su cai (vegetarian cabbage), mixed liver roll and prawn roll, prawn paste chicken, braised duck meat, flaming pork chop and dessert of yam paste.

Nice original Teochew food especially love the fried oyster and cold pork jelly in Teochew style and yam paste with ginkgo nuts for dessert is a must.

Great food. Order the usual dishes like liver and prawn rolls, oyster omelette, steam fish, fragrance ribs, chye poh kway teow and yam paste for dessert.

Very nice authentic teochew cuisine! The taste just right to my taste bud. Will recommend ppl to go and eat. Maybe the restaurant need to have a bit of renovation as it’s really a quite old 老字号 restaurant. My friends and I enjoyed eating there as partly also not a crowded place that you need to queue for long time to get your q number to go in and eat. Thumbs up!👍🏻

First time visiting this resturant but I have friends who have been there numerous times. Food and service was great. The price is very friendly. Definitely highly recommended.

Very shiok oyster omelette! Braised duck abit tough but the taste is still quite authentic! Would highly recommend this place to Teochew food lovers !
