Fantastic, authentic Teochew cuisine. Price is reasonable and we have a great time there.
Good and service is nice.. we enjoyed the food and orh nee..
Went to this place for lunch. Food was good and not too oily, and the staff was attentive.
Company lunch with colleagues, food was great. Will be back again.
Food was tasty but was quite oily. Server was hard selling the roasted chicken. And when we insisted on getting the prawn paste chicken, she continued to dissuade us by saying the prawn paste chicken will take very long for its preparation. In the end, they served the prawn paste chicken first.
Food at Fragrant Garden was great. Especially like their flaming pork chop and orh nee dessert!
Tasty Teochew food. Steam chicken was nice. Spacious and recommended for large groups.
Hor fun was lumpy, egg was overly salty. Service staff cannot be bothered. Saddest service we got since we are regulars there. She didn’t even ask if we wanted small size for all dishes. She auto charge and wrote LARGE for all dishes. Disappointed. Surely it’s a 1 star on goggle app. The standard was dropped so badly. I won’t recommend.
I have been to this restaurant many many times and still enjoy the food
Great experience. Upon arrival, staff found our booking easily and walked us to our table. Friendly staff, a Myanmese lady took our food order, was friendly and stop us from over ordering. Food prep was fast and orderly, all the dishes met our expecting. The cold crab and the roast chicken were amazing. Will come back again.
Not too impressed with the food, especially for Oyster omelette and oh ne. Omelette too oily and not many Oyster. Oh ne not smooth & no yam taste. Flaming pork & braise duck seacumber are good. Quite pricey for the quality of food.
Food tasted good, acceptable quality, portion serving was just right for 8 pax based on set menu., bill incl. Gst rounded up to $720.
Service was fast. Food was good. Enjoyed the oyster omelette very much.
Ordered chilli crab $90/kg, oyster omelette $20 n cabbage w dried scallops. Crab was fresh n spicy. Oysters were fresh n plump. omelette has more starch than egg. Cabbage dish is well braised n not too salty.
Nice teochew food dishes. Service was good, does not need to wait long for food to be served.
Yummy teochew food albeit not cheap. Relaxed vibes in the middle of a deserted mall, parking was easy and ample space for stroller. Great for family gatherings.
A nostalgic Teochew restaurant with delicious flavors. We enjoyed the pork jelly, oyster omelette, cabbage, yam paste, liver rolls, and prawn rolls. Great food and good service!
It was a nice experience, recommended and will visit again!
Food was not bad but expensive and portion was too small for 4 pax. Overpriced for this location.
food took sometime to serve. spacious seating and service was good
My go-to teochew restaurant for tasty teochew food. Restaurant is spacious and service is fast.
My go to place for Teochew food. Not the cheapest but I would say reasonable. Most importantly the food quality is great and the service crews are excellent!
The price for the food, especially the duck is too pricey and not worth the price for it. Overall, the taste of the food is slightly a bit too salty for it. And will cause an impact of revisiting it. Services are good and attentive to all requests.
Ngoh Hisng was terrible and really disappointed with it especially when it’s is not cheap at all ($20) for the smallest portion ordered.
The steam garlic prawns overcooked, prawns are tough and garlic sauce not nice… yam ring not fragrant, fish maw soup taste is ok but abit diluted. Teochew Steam Fish is fresh. Orh Nee is the best and fried shallot is sooo good.
This has been my favourite restaurant all these while. Good food
Teochew restaurant located in upper serangoon shopping centre. very spacious seating area. food is ok.
I have been to this restaurant many times! Good food
I went with my wife ordered 3 discs , stream fish , veggies n Har chor ! Food are good but portions is a bit to much for two
Food were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to order the flaming pork and kway tiao with chaipo
Good nostagic food with decent portions and short waiting time
Good! A little pricey but the quality is there. Recommend
Food was good, despite the location is abit secluded but the food variety and quality was good. The old folks enjoyed the food. Will definitely visit again
Very Good service . Nice food especially like the soup
Good food as always! Spacious and cooling environment even though it’s on an old mall, it’s a nice ambience to dine in and enjoy with dinner company:)
It was an amazing dining experience . The food was authentic and good.
Service was ok until after payment, Cashier came back to us for $15 dollars more due to crab charges was wrong size. We completed our payment and leaving, but why we still hv to pay for her mistake? We will and did pay for the shortfall but the dining experience become unpleasant.
Food is still good after all these years. The promfet porridge, prawn roll and pork jelly. However the braised duck is a disappointment this time.
Spacious seating area in an old shopping mall. Food is tasty.
good food value for money ample carpark not too crowded
Food is always good👍. Will recommend others to go dine there.
The standard of the food here is still as good!
Good chinese food near the neighbourhood. Thumb up for the taste
The food was great and standards remain high over all these years that we've visited the restaurant. Family favourite for us.
our regular teochew cruisine place.. spacious n good variety of teochew dishes
Very authentic teochew dishes. Yummy and affordable. Will come back here again
First time visiting this TeoChew restaurant, as a Teochew, I would say some of the food served do have the old and original taste of the old days, especially the fried oyster - maybe the oil used is not pork oil. If not, it will hit the Spot of the Famous "Old Hougang Fried Oyster" at 6miles road.
food not so bad. Only minus point is the boss attitude when we told him his fish was not fresh. He kept telling us another table was having same fish as us and they wasnt complaining at all. He choose to believe the other party. If the other table says not fresh and we says fresh then he will tell the other table the same thing we having same fish but we din says fish not fresh. Anyway, you win because boss refused to change the fish for us. So we won't be going again.
Food was great! We had an enjoyable dinner there! Thanks
Food quite good, especially the dessert, yam paste very yummy
