At least the soup is hot unlike the other branch I went once and never went again. Expect yourself to be sweating when eat bah kut teh so once you have that expectation, it is fine.

hands down the worst meal we’ve ever had. we had high expectations of the store as my mum cooked bkt using the soup satchet previously, and it was probably the best we’ve ever had. this however turns out to be an absolute disappointment. the soup was served to us cold and the meat was so hard that is barely chewable (we gave up on it even though we hated wasting food). the side dishes were also so painfully forgettable. it is the case where our parents cooking wins it hands down. worse was that all the staff were so engrossed with joking around, laughing at insider jokes while serving the food, throwing wet towels around and in general making so much noise that we’ll never come back again. bugis branch pls buck up

Their Bak Kut Teh appears to be overrated - meat is chunky and not tender! Fortunately, the soup is fiery with lots of white pepper, making this somewhat a comfort food for rainy days :)

Free refills of hot peppery soup, generous amount of meat! Ordered a bowl of clam soup as well for $15. Was thinking that it was a little pricey but that changed when the soup was placed down on the table. The portion was huge!
