Too much herbs on steak , truffle fries taste like normal fries, Only can taste 5% truffle taste, roasted mushroom too much vinegar on it.

TODAY WAS OUR FIRST VISIT AT SERANGOON GARDENS OUTLET. I WANT TO BUY MY NEPHEW A NICE MEAL SO I CHOSE YOUR RESTAURANT AS I HEARD OF MANY GOOD REVIEWS. THE FOOD AND EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT UNTIL.. WHEN ASKING FOR THE BILL THE LADY SERVER SAID: 1. FINALLY! THEN WHEN I PAID FOR THE BILL SHE ALSO SAID: 2. WAH! U PAY AH? VERDICT: WONDERED HOW MANY CUSTOMERS NEVER RETURNED DUE TO THIS EMPLOYEE’S ATTITUDE. FYI.

Been there at least 3 times. So far Dan's steak never failed to meet my expectation. This time I tried the 600g Omaha Prime Ribeye. Very very good. Definitely will come back. Although waiting time was a little longer on the ribeye. but still worth it

It was our 1st visit to Dan's Steak for my friend and I. Our expectations were high after reading several reviews about the food quality. However, our experience was not that good on 2 counts. Firstly, the restaurant is quite small with tables placed quite close to one another. There was a group of 4 diners who spoke and laughed very loudly throughout the evening spoiling the overall ambience. The staff did nothing to advise them to lower their volume. Secondly, the menu is really quite limited and I noticed a lack of soup options for dinner. We both ordered the NZ ribeye steak (medium for me and medium-well for my friend). My medium steak turned out to be quite tough and was cooked medium-well instead. My friend commented that she should have ordered "medium" as the steak seemed very well done. Not a good experience for our 1st visit and we both decided not to return. We can get better quality steaks and ambience at nearby Serangoon Gardens Country Club - Garden Grill.

Today's steak was a little too chewy and stubborn. Chef said it was normal. Who am I to argue? But I never felt so exhausted after a steak.

The filet mignon was great! I did find the distance between the tables was a bit too close at the Serangoon Garden outlet. Hence, I didn’t feel that I had the privacy to hold a proper conversation with my dinner partner.
