As usual, food was excellent. Service was alright too, even though it was an extremely busy night. We did find the sambal Kang kong on the very spicy side.

Great food as always and service is attentive. My recommended dishes are the fried fish. Choose one of the wetter sambals to go with it. The forest fern vegetables are seldom found in other restaurants and I like to order them. Also go for the starfruit salad. Choose from white or yellow rice.

I heard rave reviews about the food and indeed, the ones we ordered - Chicken Satays, Dancing Fish with Belimbing Salad, Omelette Kerabu and Kaplan with Oyster Sauce were delicious.The service was impeccable and ambience very homely and have that Peranakan feel. Highly recommended and will come back again.

I ordered the gulai pucuk paku but the ferns were out of stock and it was replaced by lady fingers and long beans- it doesn’t blend that well. The barley with lime was really tasteless like plain water- no sweetness and very diluted. Really over-priced. It’s supposed to be free flow but when my glass was empty, none of your staff offered a refill. Overall the food was nice and the ambience was comfortable.

Enjoyed the meal a lot, food was tasty and the sauces were so good. Cumi Cumi Bakar is a must have, and the Jungle Fern vegetable too!

For free flow drinks, had to keep prompting waitresses who were busy with their mobile phones. Restaurant was not that busy with customers.

Great food! Loved most of their dishes. Apart from the squid which was alright and the fried dancing fish which was ok (the baked fish was so much better) the rest of the food were amazing. Price is reasonable as well! Group of 7 spent around SGD220.

The tauhu telor was not nice and the fish we ordered was not fresh. When we complained to the waitress, she took our feedback very well. The fish dish was excluded from our final bill. The ambience and service is very good.

Fish is crispy enough but has soil taste. I guess you are using tilapia instead of the original gourami. Your staff chased me when I was out of the restaurant asking me to pay my bill which I did!!! (I am with my guest so did not make a fuss out of it) It was very very embarrassing for me, and I am with my guest! That was rather uncalled for , she should have simply check before rushing out and shout I have not pay. Please check with her to verify. And update me if I am wrong

Waiters can be more attentive, had troubles getting their attention to take my orders and ask for water.

Service crew could be more proactive. Many a time, they needed to be told on what to do and don’t seem v prompt.
