Food was good but not fantastic. Service was great though, staff was very nice. Probably might not choose to go again as there was nothing to shout about.
quaint and unique design, quality & special food with ample to fill your stomach. a pity that the "buffet" did not include coffee & tea, given the price that we paid.
Steak frites was good and satisfyingly filling, desserts were disappointing. Service crew was inconsistent. One was attentive and quick to serve, the rest were mostly distracted.
Great ambience, attentive service and delicious food. Cocotte is a hidden gem in Little India area and clearly one of the best French restaurants in Singapore
Great value for money, great food, really recommend it. I would go there any time again. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option but there is also one with rose free flow.....:)))
the food was excellent and we are French so it is very important for us ! :-) the place is nice so we had an excellent brunch for a good price.
Service was polite and attentive, food was great. I would come more often if it weren't so pricey. They don't seem to take reservation by phone on the day itself, so best to book online.
Good ambience and friendly service. wide selection of wine but limited for food. Price is a bit pricey but good quality. Highly recommend would definitely visit again
Casual french cuisine was above average, and quite good value. Nice family ambience despite its quirky location. Could do with slightly more variety on the menu.
Overall was okay, food quality is good but a little pricey. Service could be improved too. Nested in wanderlust hotel at Dickson road was abit hard to find
Food was delicious. Manager was accommodating and let us have the benches as we brought our baby along. Pity service was abit slow and one of the staff seemed to be having a bad day.
The chef knows what he excels in and therefore the food came out perfect. Not an extensive menu and a lot of the items were sold out but definitely worth a visit. Would recommend that you preorder the cote de beouf and the roasted chicken. Service was also pleasant, would definitely go for a second visit!
Cool ambience, keen and friendly staff, nice food. The speed of serving food can be improved, it was a it slow. Overall it was a good experience.
Good service, a little short on variety food wise though. Over priced as a result but worth a try nonetheless. Hope to have more varieties for that price tag in the future.
We had the steak and chips lunch special - was very good. Service just meh, and it was not crowded when we went. That said, I'd still return.
Always a great place for a more private gathering over a good meal and wines, and the quality of food is always on par. Last but not least, thank you for the great service!
Excellent food and great service! The spread on Sunday brunch is fantastic and worth going for. I love the salad and grill pork. We are surely going back again.
Food was great and staff are super friendly! Valet parking is highly recommended as it gets really crowded on the weekends. Highly recommend the barramundi fillet and the pork collar.
The food was really good, definitely worth the money. However, it was a pity that the service was not up to scratch as it was rather slow. I observed that the place seemed rather understaffed.
We had the rosti chicken and cote de beouf, they're great and perfectly cooked. The experience could be better if only the staff could be a little more attentive.
Food was excellent - highly recommend the onglet. The 5-course set was well-curated and scrumptious. Service was excellent - the waiter really knows his stuff and gave great recommendations.
Serves up good hearty French food accompanied by attentive service and a comfortable ambience. Particularly noteworthy is a 10-12 seater round table they have - a rare find in a non-Chinese place. Makes for a great social outing.
Overall a good experience. It will be better if the bread serving is free flow and the sides of the main dish should varies. I ordered 3 main dishes, chicken, beef and fish and all the 3 sides of potatoes, carrots and long beans on every dish is too much.
This is my second visit in almost 4 years and the difference was happily astounding! My carnivorous dining friends were well pleased to eat here. All our meat dishes were variously well done as were the roasted vegetables that garnished each dish. Our group enjoyed the pork chop, Côte de beouf as well as the Poulet. The simple salads: Garden and Pear were fresh, delicate and tastefully seasoned. Also, the duck fat fries complemented our meal perfectly. Less impressive was the sea bass, which our non-meat eating friend thought was tasty but bony. Sadly there was not really much to choose for vegetarians. Having over-indulged on our starters and main, we skipped dessert, which perhaps was our loss. The service was attentive and generously helpful, although a busier Friday evening may challenge. The wine list was understandably weighted toward the French but some of my group found the cocktails and bottled beers equally as diverting as the house-pour Chilean Cabernet. Happily come again!
Really great selection of food offered throughout the brunch enjoyed in a fun & unique atmosphere. To the girls serving though...smile! At times it felt like we were inconveniencing you.
Great food & service. Took the kitchen an hour to serve us any food other then bread - even though we pre-ordered the chicken. I would go back but call in advance to make sure they have a full staff.
Great food with organic vegetables used. Service was attentive and fast. The choice of Desserts in the set lunch menu was also good. Will definitely go again.
Service was good, staff was helpful and diligent. The food was off interesting taste and combinations. A twist to classics which was a nice change.
Food was excellent but a bit pricey. We also would've wished for more broader selecation of sparklings. Note! There were in total 17 dishes to choose from!
Great food and great service. Staff all friendly. The portions were good and the prices were very reasonable. We had steak for main, asked for rare and got rare. Don't worry about the local area which looks a bit run down, it adds to the experience. A lot of development going on at the moment but Cocotte does not suffer from this.
It was quiet when we arrived which was great for privacy and we had the attention of the entire staff. The food was good, if a tad too much salt.
Delicious food, unique atmosphere and friendly service made for one great lunch with a friend. I recommend the set lunch as it was quite a bit of food and all so tasty!
Tried the 5-course Cocotte Table menu and winners were definitely the live blue mussels & clams, home made duck rillettes and the pate de Campagne -- they were lightly flavoured and not overwhelmed with saltiness unlike some other establishments. Worth mention was the little surprised put together for husband's birthday -- instead of their regular panna cotta (vanilla flavoured), they sent across a Pandan flavoured panna cotta in addition to the dessert already covered in the 5-course menu. A delight indeed!
It was really good the ambience, the music, lighting all perfect and the food is delicious!! Especially the steak is so tender and it melts in your mouth. I would recommend anyone who like steak, go try there!
Very fine and authentic French dishes. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They remembered to put the birthday candle on dessert even if asked only on the internet booking :D
Food is tasty, fresh and very up to expectation, generous portion served. Steak is cooked to the correct done-ness, the fats are well charred giving a very succulent texture and fragrance to the meat. Service is impeccable, friendly attentive staffs.
Good food, albeit a tad expensive. Nice decor. Friendly service. Would recommend for special occasions, although they didn't really do anything special for my dad's birthday. Parking was convenient too, at the public car park across the road.
Came here for the weekend brunch trolley.. Great ambience, food was great and excellent service.
Good brunch buffet but takes a long time for different dishes to be pushed out on a trolley and served. So go when you are in the mood for a loooong meal!
Nice cosy place to enjoy a simple dinner. Nice generous serving. We were literally carrying our tummy out of the lace after the meal! ;-)
Much better than mainstream steak place like outback. Went there on a Sunday evening. Surprisingly quiet at seven to eight pm. However place is not large. Should have reservation
Service is super slow... And to think that we were the only customers for lunch today. Food was good though. But I dont think we will go back
abit pricey but great food, great service, will go again
Good food - we went for the mussels night. portion is good for 2 to share. Service was attentive and helpful.
Very good food and wine. We had s terrific evening. The moules very extremely good, better than most I had in France. We also enjoyed the cheese plater
Celebrated a friend's birthday at the restaurant. The food was lovely and the wine pairing added a nice touch. Cosy ambience too and attentive staff. Would definitely visit again!
Great service, great crew. Excellent food with awesome place for chilling and gathering.
Had a long day but the experience at Cocotte lifted my spirits. Ordered the 5-course set meal and a whole grilled sea-bass main for two. My fav...charcuterie - intensely rich but not fat; mussels - the highlight...sweet flavours; sea-bass - tender without overcooking contrasted with crispy quinoa and seasonings. Will be back...
Great food, ambience and service. Better than a self service buffet spread, food gets serve to you at timely intervals. Love the fresh salad, fish and juicy beef and home made tea. lots of varieties. Only wish the desserts were freshly made...overall great dining experience !
Back a 2nd time for the brunch trolley and the Sea Bass is again the standout of the lot.
