First time preordering the food in advance here and it saved us a lot of waiting time

Very accommodating and attentive service by Joyce and her team! They offered to sing a birthday song for my grandmother during the birthday lunch, and their lovely gesture definitely made our day. :)

Home made toufoo dish too gooey. Steamed prawns in wine good.

Food is consistently good , Service needs more attention (understandably because of staffing & short handedness) The crabs are excellent - a must try in any style !!!

Table affected by the little dried leaves of trees nearby. My guests expressed concern though I mind less. Will be good to get rid of them anyway. In the end we shifted to another table to have the peace of mind.

Nice food, good service and pleasant dining experience. Just that the food portion isn’t as big as it used to be.

Attentive service without being obtrusive. We ordered poached prawns in wine (about 10-12 pieces of prawn), great taste. The venison with ginger and spring onion was tender and delicious and baby kai lan fried with garlic, just right. All in all a reasonably priced meal for two. Below $60 including rice, Chinese tea, ++. Recommended.

Very pleasant dinner experience. The floor captain took our order, average dish size to the number of diner so that no excess food was wasted and that equate to money. Quality of food is very good, tasty and service was prompt. Was surprised to see the restaurant was full (in-door) on Monday night. Will patronize again.

Excellent Customer Service. Very attentive service staff. Food was tasty; crab used to cook the pepper crab was not fleshy but the meat of the other crab that was used to cook the chilly crab was firm, sweet and fresh. Prawns was sweet and fresh. Spend more than $330 for the food i ordered.

If all the tables are occupied, the noise level is high. We could barely hear each other when we speak. Food is delicious, our favorite is Braised Pork Bun.

We went for the set lunch, which was value for money. The hor fun portion was larger than the noodles.

Had been visiting Chin Huat since 2012 every few months to eat their Sri Lankan crab. However, this visit is the most disappointing. Ordered pumpkin Sri Lankan crab which was over-fried that cause the flesh to be dry and sticks to the shell. Feed backed to the staff and was shocked to hear her say that such thing show that the crabs are fresh! Had been eating mud crabs which was live right before being cooked and don't experience this at Chin Huat or any other restaurants. So such feedback is indeed shocking from Chin Huat. Suggest to go other restaurants if you want to spend on mud crabs because this shows that they don't value a regular customer's feedback anymore even it is meant to just preserve their quality.

Overall a nice dining experience, courteous staff and prices generally acceptable . I would recommend this place !

Everything here is sooo good! I'm actually surprised! MUST eat their salted egg brinjal! Cantonese yam abacus, pork rib in red wine sauce, and coconut pudding are also impressive. Crabs, are definitely a must-order! They are so fresh and sweet. We had the one with pumpkin sauce. Quite an interesting combi to be honest. Only mildly sweet, the sauce didn't mask the sweetness of th crabmeat and actually compliments the crab meat pretty well.

The food and service at Chin Huat are consistently very good. The air conditioned room is a bit noisy. However, the outside seating is pleasant enough

The young lady boss is very friendly. She went around the tables to talk to her customers. Food is good and the outdoor dining ambience was lovely.....

The crab is fresh n yummy.. like the crab in pumpkin sauce.. sauce is smooth n not too salty..
