Beyond Pancakes - City Square

The chocolate chip pancakes were packed with chocolate chips, perhaps a bit too much. Still good though!

Had a different experience of seafood vongole. Was expecting something soupy/broth instead of like garlic aglio olio texture

Although the restaurant was empty with only 1 table occupied during breakfast yet the service staff seated us right to that table which happened to be extremely noisy! Just don’t understand the logic some staff have.

Superb Dutch pancake that's easier on the tummy than regular pizza lol Huge thin crepe that's topped with turkey bacon, mozzarella, pineapple and onion - that's the Hawaii Pannekoek I ordered. Really delicious and enjoyable! I had the perfect light lunch today coupled with nice hot Twinnings tea ;)

I had a lovely time as I don't need to wait for long for my food to be served.

Had a satisfying lunch today comprising a pancake "pizza" and two plain pancakes... For mains, I took on the Pannekoek, which is a savoury Dutch pancake that's thin like a crepe. Mine had toppings of turkey bacon, tomato, pineapple and cheese, much like a pizza. I highly recommend this unique pancake over the rest of the items on the menu -- it's that good! 😋 Dessert with 2 smaller but thicker plain pancakes was too filling and less enjoyable! A better choice would have been one piece with a scoop of ice-cream on top 😂 Overall, this was a good meal 😁

Lots of variety to choose from, crew is patient and friendly. Whether you’re in the mood for sweet and/or savoury meal, they have it. Baked rice takes a while to be prepared but it’s worth the wait.

Food was good but waiting time was way too long for an order of pancakes. We waited close to 35 mins for a plate of pancakes. But they did apologies and throw in a scoop of ice cream.

The Baked Truffle Pasta is so tasty and the pancakes are well like by the kids. Service can be better, they seem to be unstaffed. But overall, it worth trying.

Surprise find! Nice thin crepe like pancake base with pizza type toppings make for a really original and delectable dish. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu :)
