the food came relatively fast.. you don't have to feel like you are waiting forever. Excellent food, attentive staff and unbeatable ambience. Will definitely be back there again.

The Food was not good ( greasy, not well presented). The brunch choices are limited and service is not focused Definitely I don't recommend for brunch

It was a nice and quiet cosy place for a nice dinner. Service was great and attentive. For food wise, I would have to say that I tasted better French food and at a lower price in other French restaurant than here. The duck confit that was supposed to be their signature dish didn't have the fats of the skin completely seared off and I had to scrap them off. Crime brûlée that was also recommended had too thick of a sugar top and I tasted more egg than vanilla. I would have 2nd thoughts about coming back again.

Good value lunch, delicious steak main but disappointing dessert. Setting very nice, lovely room. Service a little random but ok overall. Bit rushed for lunch when we would have preferred slower pace.

The service, food and ambience overall is quite good :) the staff, Michelle is very friendly and we have a enjoyable Saturday afternoon there! The only disadvantage is that the place is quite inaccessible for train and bus.

Overall we had good experience with attentive waiters and good service. However, there is no couple table arrange near window. Couple can not enjoy the view while having their meal.

Excellent lobster bisque. Portions are generous and food was equally good. Ambience was great except that we were unlucky to be next to a table where the conversation was above average loud. Otherwise an enjoyable meal for both of us.

Very nice ambience topped with great service! Airconditioning a bit too cold (maybe due to the wet weather). Been there many times and will be back again!

The foods is fantastic and the beautiful scenery makes feel great. The service is also very good. Nothing to complain about this restaurant. I would love to come back soon with my family.

Service was outstanding, as always. Food was good, but the duck confit was a tad dry and flaky. Good value for money, but lots of competition out there now in the value fine dining bracket.

nice ambience; I would prefer outdoor if not for the humid weather. Friendly staff who seem to be quite knowledgeable in the food; can make appropriate recommendation. Good food and value for money. A delicious dinner in a lovely setting. I had never eaten in the outdoor area before. It was lovely on a cool evening. We shared the bone-in prime rib (perfectly cooked, and flavorful), roasted fig salad, onion soup (delicious and not too rich), lobster bisque (delicious and rich), and fondant cake (good), and creme brulee (perfect). Service was attentive and helpful -- a step or two above our experience in similar Singapore restaurants lately.

We were a party of 8, at the restaurant for lunch. The service was excellent, servers were very attentive, -and the food was delicious. All of us had a great time!

It's definitely a place to go for excellent quality French food served in a good conducive environment, supported with great service. Not to mention It's also kids friendly.

Nice restaurant, good food (but not overwhelmingly great) and attentive service. We and some other guests were kept waiting on arrival as they were not ready to be opened at 6.30.

We chose to share a scallop starter and then had lamb and steak all washed down with a nice burgundy. Very good food, service and ambience. Until the next time!

The black cod dish was fantastic...the dish i enjoyed most. Dessert was ok, better if the ice cream was much creamer. Definetely will go back to try other dishes.

We ordered 4 set lunches. Duck confit was excellent, chicken was good but snapper was not that fresh. Both starters and desserts no complaints. So overall , food is good.

Well located restaurant with reasonably priced, good quality food, and easy parking options. Would highly recommend for quiet evenings, romantic or private dinners. Best seats are located outside. Also a nice touch that they hand out vouchers for lunch to encourage patronage.

Making the reservation was very easy through the web site - thumbs up! Staff were all pleasant, attentive and professional. The food and table setting were good. The only issue we had was that we could hear conversations from other tables. Cheers!

Service & food were excellent, just right for a friend's birthday lunch at the end of the week. We sat outside & it was cool & airy. An ideal location to celebrate with easy parking & easy access. Thoroughly recommend Au Petit Salut for a girl's lunch.

We ate dinner here, after having made a booking for a table via their web site in the late morning. The booking process was a breeze, and confirmation was received by email quite soon after. Au Petite Salute has been around since 1998. The cuisine is French, and the restaurant has many followers. Very popular at lunch time as many, including myself, have been there to eat their 3 course set lunch which is good value for the buck. But tonight it was for a special dinner. The service was attentive, polite and cordial. When my wife mentioned feeling a strong draft, the waiter immediately adjusted the blower of the air conditioner to lower the this. The ambiance is plain, with floor to ceiling glass panels on both sides of the dining room, and the room ends decorated with red brick tiles. Warm lighting made the place very cosy and comfortable. A well stock bar occupies one end of the room. There was piped jazz music, not my favorite. I thought the atmosphere could be more romantic with a better selection of music. The single white tulip flower on each vase on every table looked pathetic! We had the 3 course set dinner menu instead of the 4 course as we both cannot eat much, ordering, for our starters, the Smoked salmon, with fresh vegetables, sour cream & dill, capers, micro herbs, with balsamic reduction; the Lobster Bisque with lobster ravioli, and fresh tarragon. The main course was a Crispy French duck leg confit, with roasted potato, caramelized onions, orange & Piment d’Espelette, and brown jus. My wife had the Red wine braised beef cheeks, with carrots, button mushroom, and Pommes Mousseline. For deserts, I had the Choux buns and vanilla ice cream, with warm chocolate sauce and sliced almonds; and my wife had the Creme Brulee with fresh Madagascar vanilla beans and chocolate pearls. This was finished with a coffee and a tea. The duck was pretty delicious and well seasoned. The skin was crispy, and the flesh tender enough to fall off the bone. I like the orange flavor, but found the Brussel sprouts a little undercooked. The Beef cheeks were tender, but I found the smell of beef a little too overpowering for my liking and would have struggled to eat this dish. My wife however, didn’t think this was so, but then she has problems with smelling due to medication affecting her smell senses. The deserts were very good. I enjoyed the crunchy almond bits and the vanilla ice cream with the chocolate sauce. My glass of red wine was obviously poured from the last drops of the bottle. There was so much residue that it was unpleasant to drink the bottom third of the glass, but at $18/- a glass, one tries not to waste too much! In all a pleasant evening which could have been better. A place which I would return for special occasions, and hopefully, find fewer negative points than tonight. Four stars for the moment.

We were there for a birthday celebration. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and the lunch selections for the different courses is quite good. Value for money.

Great romantic getaway hidden in dempsey area, giving any special couple the feeling of a secret getaway to some mysterious place. Dinner environment is conducive and lights are dimmed, with a flower (instead of candle) on the table. The steak i ate was excellent, every inch of it screaming with taste n juiciness. The service was great as well. Highly recommended.

Overall pretty satisfying experience. 1st time in the evening and it was a more quiet and relaxing without ungoverned children running around. Food was good with more pluses than minuses. Only a slight dissatisfaction with the sauce accompaniment of the cod. Somehow did not match the great quality of the cod. And the foie gras itself - which I felt, could be of slightly better quality (we knew it was duck and not goose - but not as good as other times). Staffing was a bit shorthanded, but they coped well.

I have been coming here on and off for the last 12 years, and it is consistently one of the best experiences in Singapore for reasonable money. There is a marvelous airy terrace surrounded by greenery, with the quieting sound of running water and even frogs. The service is always very friendly and professional. But you should really come for the food: consistently excellent classic French dining, with a few outstanding dishes like the French quail filled with mushrooms and foie gras, and with a light truffle sauce. There remains one point for improvement: although they have an excellent wine list by the bottle, the selection by the glass is a bit underwhelming. An investment in a vinomat to keep open bottles of premium wines fresh would definitely make my experience there complete...

Great outstanding service! The serving staff remember Patrons' names and had made the only child in the restaurant comfortable, reducing awkwardness for adults who brought the child.

Excellent service and the staff very friendly and helpful. The environment is cosy. Food is average, below my expectations and price a bit too high.

Good and fast service, yummy food in particular the escargot, reasonable price for a lunch set. Would be better if the stewed beef could be had without additional top-up.
