Au Petit Salut

I've had the pleasure of dinning at Au Petit Salut over the past few years on a number of occasions. Unfortunately, not as often as I would like. T he food and service is very good and done in a lovely setting. On our visit yesterday evening, I went to enjoy their Valentine's Menu, and while they were very busy, the pacing of the meal was at a good pace and not rushed. The food was, as always, well prepared and so nicely presented. We had a lovely evening.

The food was great and the lunch set was very value for money! But the service could be a tad friendlier! Will def be back again

We had Set Lunch and food were good with nice ambiance. Waiter is attentive and friendly. Will return to try set dinner next time. No slippers allow.

Tried St Valentin 2017 set menu. I and my partner were very disappointed with the dessert. Saffron risotto cake was too hard. The rest was average.

Food excellent. Service great. But very noisy inside. There was a party of twelve ladies and I could hardly hear my guest and we were on the far side of the room.

Great quiet location, suitable for a romantic lunch/dinner. Delicious food, with changes in the menu so you wouldn't get bored if you were to frequent there!

Courteous wait-staff with good service recovery. Lunch set menus were value for money. Food selection and presentation was acceptable. Nice ambiance, suitable for both leisure and business lunch.

This is my second visit to the restaurant and I enjoyed the overall experience very much! So glad that they had the lunch set menu available on Saturday! Excellent food and service 👍🏻😊

A peaceful and intimate environment with fantastic food at a decent fare. Wouldn't hesitate to return again. The only downside is that it's mandatory to drive in as it's not located near any public transport.

We see why they have lost Michelin stars, the servers say the right things, but don't follow through and service is not predicative, but responsive--and then slow or non-existent.

Was very surprised about the revamp. Restaurant now looks very modern and chic, very different from previous. Food were good as well. Very good and attentive service from the staff. Will recommend.

the environment is good, the service quite nice and respond fast. however the foods quite let me down. overall is good but need to improve the food quality

The starters were creative and awesome. Definitely would go back for them. The chesnut parfait was a dissapointment though. The alcoholic jelly was too strong and spicy

Great French place with consistently good food! Soups were very flavourful (especially the lobster bisque) Enjoyed the truffle mushroom! Lovely warm bread available also. Beef cheek was on point. The soufflé had a decent addition of alcohol too!! Only difficulty is location otherwise recommendable experience away from the hustle and bustle

The ambience is warm and cosy. Service is fast and attentive. Portion for set lunch was not too heavy with generous serving for creme brulee.

We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary at Au Petit Salut, with our 3 children & daughter's boyfriend. It wasn't a cheap meal but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. However, compared to previous visits, my wife & I felt the menu quality had slipped a bit.

I brought my wife there on X'mas Eve and was glad I did. Located in a quiet place away from the bustling city. Attentive staff that served without being intruding. A delicious 4-dish course dinner (sausages, foie gras, sea bass, cheeses) that cost $88+ (still manageable, didn't break my wallet). Good choice for special occasions!

The food was was honestly very very good but the serviced was so poor. The staff was unkind, not welcoming and did not pay attention. Extra staff would definitely be beneficial. I hope this will be improved soon as I loved the food and good lunch deal.

Service was good and very prompt but felt like the quantity of food decreased as compared to dining there a few years ago. Hope they can do sth about that

Very good atomosphere and services. Good to have a dinner towards the sunset. Food is fine, too. Mashroom soup (Smoked Chestnut & Mushroom Velouté) was very good. Outside dining can be nice on cool days.

Good experience! Service was pleasant, food was properly priced. Highly recommended for family to visit. Staffs are helpful to arrange a cab for you sincr area is not as accessible.

It is a very nice and quaint restaurant however waiting time was a little long. Service was excellent though. The waiters and waitresses were extremely attentive to our needs.
