cosy quaint cafe with a nice ambience and good food, abit pricey but worth it. Waiting time was acceptable (on weekdays) and can conveniently drop by ilight :-)

Tasty, flavour food, huge rice bowls, but price on the high side, especially its beers. Young crowd, tends to get busy during dinner service thru 9pm. Short waiting time

A range of poke bowls for the healthy conscious and a guilty menu for the sinful one..service not too bad..a busy crowd on a saturday night i would say..better to reserve before going..

I would highly recommend their poke bowls. It was my 1st time trying it and it has since changed my perspective on healthy food. Delicious.

Alter Ego is an excellent after work dinner place. The restaurant was packed as it was a Friday night. The food was really good and filling, we ordered the poke bowls and various sides to share. I will definitely come again!

Good ambience and customer service. The service staff were attentive and the food was good! We ordered Poke Bowl (MUST TRY), Beef patty burger and Cilantro wings. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves there and we will definitely go back again and to try out their Smoothie Bowl! :)

The food is nice and filling and price is reasonable. Luckily we made a reservation if not it will be hard to get a seat on a saturday evening.

Delectable poké bowls and really scrumptious cheese fries! The ambience was lovely and the happy hour priced draught beer was the icing on top of the cake. I'll be back again!

My dining experience was good until the part where the service crew did not mention that there was credit card promotion. I had to find out when I walked over to the cashier to order my takeaway. Next thing, my takeaway took half hour. When I asked the crew, he went into the kitchen and he told me that there was a mixed up in order thus there was a delay. I could see the look in the crew's faces and it was a case of order not done at all. I would have appreciated the honesty rather than lying to my face. The crew did not even do any service recovery by offering anything other than a glass of water. The service needs work.

Ordered the umami salmon poke bowl, fried chicken skin and the pulled pork sandwich. Food is good especially the poke bowl and the chicken skin. Service needs improvement and speed.

Made a reservation for 4 and they gave us a really really small table :( had to move outside for seating. the food was good though.

Glorious cheesy experience with the pizza fries and grilled cheese sandwich. Lovely toast as dessert as well! Will definitely go back for such sinful meals! Went around 5pm on a Monday evening and there wasn't a crowd as expected.

This is a cafe with nice ambience. Look forward to visit the cafe again. However buffalo wings may be a bit too salty for me.

The place is too noisy to talk and food was overall too salty for me and my friends. Probably a place to just drink and chill.

The space was very crowded, probably because we went during dinner time. We were given a very small table for the number of people in our group. However, there was nothing much the staff could do and they were very apologetic about it.

Service was very slow today and some of them didn't have initiative to welcome us and clear up the table. Last time visit was better than today.

Spilt coffee on bag without apologizing. Claims not to serve water but glasses of tap water was served to other diners. Claims not to serve pokebowls after 830pm but pokebowls were served to other diners who arrived later than my group. Iced coffee was too milky and not iced enough.

The food and ambience was great! The service could be improved and staff could have looked more interested and be more attentive to their customers.

The poke bowl was the only thing I find satisfying. The crispy salmon skin topping was tasteless. The cocoa dessert was a turnoff. The staff was helpful, but there were only 2 of them, while the place was almost full. It was not a bad experience, but a lot can be improved.

Food was amazing, especially the pizza fries! It comes with fondue cheese and this super nice dipping sauce that tastes just like pizza. Service was decent.

Server was friendly and nice ambience to dine in. Ordered the infamous pizza fries which were good but a little oily. Ice tea a little overpriced

Awesome location. Had the poke bowl and grilled cheese and both were great. Price is very reasonable as well. Staff could be more attentive but overall it was an enjoyable experience :)

Good food with friendly service and great view. We had the lime cilantro wings (which was really crispy and tangy) + carbo overloaded on fries. Would definitely go again.

Food was awesome. Like the "Eat clean" concept so much! The location is also amazing for a Friday chill out. will definitely recommend to friends and visit the place again.

Ambience is good for 3-4 friends to catch up. Poke bowls is good and the finger food is good to share with friends and nice to go along with beer. It be good to add on more main meals to the existing menu. Cheers (",)

Ambience was great with receptive servers. Ordered the poke bowls and it was not too bad (salmon was very fresh) although nothing special.

Love the vibe at the place, especially with their choice of (hip hop) music ;) and I absolutely love the poke bowl! Can't get enough. Definitely worth the money.

Poke was fresh and yummy. Tried the grilled cheese which could be a little more chessy. Price is overall reasonable. Overall, Will recomend to friends.

Cheese sandwich and poke bowl were yummilicious and service pretty attentive. Interesting range of craft beers available too. Nice place with a cool vibe and good view of waterfront.

Food - solid 5, service - solid 5. Spent average $35/head. Food is best for sharing. Grilled cheese with beef is a defo required staple; also don't underestimate how full you can get eating it! Reservations defo needed for a Friday night!

Ambience was good. Food was nice especially the fried chicken skin. So addictive! The original poke shaker was really good too with all very fresh ingredients. Downside was only the small portions.

Being a vegan I was delighted to find a restaurant serving a vegan option for my pre-theatre dinner. I had the Green Goddess Bowl which was a satisfying mix of avocado, kimchi, brown rice, and pomegranate. I added spicy roasted cashews for an extra $2, and they added crunch and spice to my meal. They also served my favourite Chai Rebel coconut mylk! My friends had the other Poke bowls and they all enjoyed their food. We also ordered both smoothie bowls and the cacao one was the nicer if the two - but then chocolate always wins when it comes to dessert! Both were not too sweet and tasted very healthy. Reservations recommended as they were quite busy! Best place for a healthy guilt free meal at Esplanade in my opinion.

It was good. Portions were reasonable albeit slightly overpriced. Will definitely be looking forward to bringing my other friends along the next time for food.

The food was surprisingly pretty awesome! And the beer bucket was worth it :) had a really good time with my friends the night I visited. Will definitely visit again!
