You Me La 又麻又辣 Clementi is one of Singapore’s best places to tuck into steaming bowls of Chinese hotpot. Beginning as a humble hawker stall, You Me La has now exploded onto the Singapore hotpot restaurant scene with two fully-fledged eateries, including this spot in Clementi and another in Yishun. The Clementi space is simple and minimal, with wooden booth seating, muted lighting and plant life, which complement the unique soup broths and fillings just perfectly. You’ll find You Me La 又麻又辣 Clementi along Commonwealth Avenue West, a stone’s throw from the Clementi MRT and Mall. Bookings are essential.
As with any good Chinese hotpot restaurant in Singapore, quality and quantity is of the utmost importance at You Me La 又麻又辣 Clementi. Meaning, the range of fillings and broths available is extensive, the style of cooking is innovative and the flavours are some of the best you’ll find on the little red dot. All of this served in a sleek and modern restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue West makes it the ideal choice for catching up with friends, a date or treating the family to a truly special Chinese hotpot experience. We’re certainly big fans of You Me La 又麻又辣, can you tell?
So, as we said, the choice of fillings on offer at You Me La 又麻又辣 Clementi will definitely leave a smile on your face. But what can you expect, exactly? We recommend filling up your broth of choice with parsley pork balls; coriander beef; black tripe; shrimp balls; spicy beef or handmade shrimp. There’s also vegetarian fillings and options for those who are a little more adventurous with their hotpots – pig throat or duck kidney, for example. Popular for very good reason, we can’t recommend a booking at You Me La 又麻又辣 in Clementi enough. It’s sure to become your new favourite Singapore Chinese hotpot venue of choice.
1 complusory clear soup + 1 soup of your choice for ala carte buffet with free flow of soft drinks, canned chrysanthemum drink and some juices from the dispenser. The fried manton was sliced and fried, so it’s too oily for my liking.
The staff are quite friendly and their services were good. The Xia Hua tasted super great! Plus the fruits are free of charge and very fresh.
