Woody Family Cafe established its first outlet on 19th September 2009, along Andrews Avenue, providing home-cooked Fusion Peranakan & Western cuisine with desserts & cocktails.
Founders, husband and wife team, Sam & Jenny strived from scratch with a meagre sum of investment squeezing every cent, sometimes with only one meal each day and at times without meals even to the extent of selling their flats, Sam's precious guitars and even Jenny's jewellery to fulfil their passion. With determination and perseverance, both owners strived hard from early dawn till late wee nights to build up their dream of having a simple and humble business to call their own.
