Quality is ok but the quantity is very small despite ordering the large pot which cost more than $75. Overpriced.

Not a lot of smiles but pretty efficient service. Fish broth is rich and flavourful, highly addictive! Signature tofu is very good too! Sit outdoors for a quieter ambience.

Food was great. Fish Soup is delicious. My parents enjoyed the food. Service staff are friendly and helpful. Although food is a tad too pricey.

Excellent service & delicious food. The marmite pork ribs & egg prawns were delicious. The soup was the main draw & we had lots of refills. We would definitely come again.

Very good food. Rather hard to get their attention when service is needed though. Will definitely go back again regardless. Had the steamboat and also the Pork belly cooked with salted fish in the claypot was superb in flavor.

Nice soup and dishes. But the price is abit steep. Anyway, will still recommend to others. Parking is limited and need parking coupon. Good service too.

It was my first time to Whampoa Keng Fish Head Steamboat - Rangoon Road. I like the fish head steamboat and the prawn paste fried chicken. Service was pretty good too.

Good food, but the restaurant was very crowded. As a result, it was quite noisy. Service was mediocre, restaurant spacious enough. Would return again for the food!

Food is serve fast and hot. Service is ok. Billing service can be improved as we asked for bill but bill didn’t not arrive and was instead told by a lady if we could settle our bill and vacate our seats.

We loved the healthy, heart-warming fish head / fish slice hot pot with lots of vegetables. Top that with their delicious chir zhar, we had a delectable experience. We brought our own wine and the service staff obliged with wine glasses. They were are attentive to top up the soup for the hot pot. Great place to have a table full of friends.

Fish steamboat was alright, other dishes were surprisingly not good at all - the kung bao chicken was sour and nothing like it should be at all

I ordered the 2 pax set, steamboat fish head, tofu and indonesian spicy chicken. Value for money. Good food and good service even though they were busy. Recommended. Will go back.

Great food. Extremely tasty soup and fresh grouper. My only complaint is that the quantity was a tad small for the family. Otherwise recommended for sure!

We're regulars here. Love the food. Service quality depends on how busy the crowd is. The people are generally nice people. Order the prawn paste fried chicken and the cereal prawn - love it!

It was peak hours so restaurant was packed and noisy . Food was as usual , good but pity no more roast chicken available as it was sold out . Still prefer the red grouper to pomphret . Needed to wait a while for the food though .

The soup and fish is deliciously good, definitely one of the better ones I have tried. Can’t speak the same for the chicken though, wouldn’t rate chicken (招牌 and 金龙) as the best in town, but taste good. The salted fish pork belly also passable with room for improvement. Salted squid and Sambal Lala are also highly recommended. Will definitely return to try something else.

The waitress recommended us to order a set. Consisting of a fish steamboat, chicken, prawn, pork ribs dishes and dessert, it was value for money. I was impressed by the waitress' honesty. When she walked past our table, she asked how was everything and observed that the prawn paste chicken served to us was of a small portion instead of medium portion stated in the menu. She apologised for it and subsequently served the rest of the portion. Great place to visit for delicious fish steamboat with unlimited refills of soup!

Wish they still have the seafood combo for steamboat . Thought that the price for salted egg york prawn was a tad too high for a Zi Char place .
