About Washoku Cafe

Washoku Cafe Singapore serves up incredible Japanese fusion in Toa Payoh. Situated on Tai Thong Crescent, Washoku Cafe has a menu that is bursting with brilliant and creative takes on traditional Japanese dishes. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, this spot is as ideal for a speedy business lunch as it is for a lengthy dinner on the weekend. A few of our favourite dishes include the crispy chicken karaage; asari butter (clams in a creamy clear soup); teriyaki chicken pizza and the fresh seafood ramen. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment, so what are you waiting for?

I asked for the half portion of spicy prawns carbonara, as I did not want to waste any food. There were 7 pieces of fresh and huge prawns served, but the sauce was not that great. The cafe owner (a middle aged lady) is really friendly!

I had the prawn + scallop pizza and mentaiko pasta. Food was tasty, prices were reasonable (no GST and service charge) and staff were friendly.

Interesting quaint little cafe in a quiet neighbourhood. Decent quality of food at a reasonable price point in a comfortable environment. Will definitely be back.

The food was mediocre, nothing too fanciful. The recommended prawn carbonara was a bit of a disappointment as it wasn't as flavorful. Potato mentaiko also did not impress.
