The dining experience at Wang Dae Bak was as usual good. Good food.. like the kimchi pancake and the kimchi.. the meat was well portioned too.

I would said its 1 of the best korean bbq in town. Not cheap but why would you have cheap and lousy quality food.

It was a breeze setting up a reservation with Wang Dae Bak via Quandoo. There was no waiting time, i was ushered in the moment I reached there. The food was good. Service was good. The ventilation could be a little better. Noise control could be a little better. Overall it was a pleasant visit.

We ordered the set menu for 3-4 persons which included 2 pork and 1 chicken, 1 soup and 1 kimchi/seafood pancake. Portions are good for 4 persons. In all, pretty decent dining experience and value if you are looking to try out Korean BBQ.

We celebrated our friend's birthday tonight at Wang Dae Bak and was very fortunate to have a separate space for us. Eros and Penny were super accomodating with top service. I really appreciated their attention to our table. Our group of friends haven't had many chances to gather frequently, and we glad we chose Wang Dae Bak tonight. Keep it up guys!

Staff are always busy, not very attentive even we rang the bell a few times. Very smoky as compared to other Korean BBQ restuarants. But the food is great, worth going still.

Luckily I’m able to make reservation, if not it is popular restaurant and some people wait up till an hour. Overall food are good. Outside seats can be increase with more cooler fans will be good

bad. 1. not that i need people to cook for me but when you're paying $60-$80 for 2pax ala carte korean bbq, i guess you would expect someone to help you cook and ensure the cooked quality of the "quality meat" that was served? 2. meat had a substantial amount of "red water" when heated, something you only see from low quality meat. if you had quality meat at a bbq place before, you won't see this "red water" at all. 3. shortly after finishing the meat on the table, staff did not ask if we would like more and cleared the charcoal pot. kept on clearing all the stuff on the table, as what you might have experienced if an eatery "hints" you to leave. obligatory recommendation" there's another restaurant name that also ends with "dae bak" along Kreta Ayer Rd, offers better service and meat quality at a lower price! good meat cut, good meat quality, good service from staff, good price (~$60 for 2pax). boss checks with you on how you like the quality of meat served, not sure if it's a good thing for you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oh and this place is..... buffet *mic drop*

Great, new food! the ingredients and sides dishes were so good. especially there is eggs too! just a little too smokey maybe due to the charcoal

They have added a soul meat set to their menu (3-4pax) which makes it so easy to order. This set includes 3 portions of meat, 1 halfhalf pancake, 1 stew. Totally in love with the marination or meat, crispy pancake and on-the-point kimchi stew. By the way, the meal ended with a bang, as they offered free ice cream to conclude your dining experience.

Love the crispy pancakes and meat. Super soju too. Standards remain after all these years.
