Nice place and service. Will recommend to others and back again

The place is nice. But the food is average for the price paid.

Food quality & services is good. Staffs are friendly. With wider variety and better air ventilation, experience would be more enjoyable.

Staff had good initiative. Service was quick. Food was served within 5mins upon ordering.

Good alternative to HDL, but recently getting more and more crowded

Place was quite noisy, could hear the diners shouting to talk to each other becos of the noise. Service is attentive at the start of meal, towards the middle, they tend to leave you alone, maybe want you to finish up and go. But its alright. Not HDL standard of service but then price is also not HDL-expensive.

For the price and the quality of food, I thinn Upin is really great! Food quality is quite similar to hdl.

My favourite go-to place for steamboat, much better than haidilao.

Not crowded and food/dessert/drinks selection is not as many as HDL but enough for us. Price is much decent. Staff are helpful and attentive.

Founded by the people who were once part of HaiDiLao, @upinhotpot is the place to satisfy your hot pot cravings at a fraction of the price. But of course at a fraction of the service too compared to HDL 🙃 。 love their tomato soup!!

Food is good as usual and service of manager is superb. Will go again.

Portions seem rather small. Soup bases don’t seem to be made from scratch. The mushrooms, dates and dried oysters in the soup were all rather raw and hard when the soup arrived on the table. The handmade meatballs and dumplings were good, wish there were more.

Just another hotpot place, nothing special. Staff did not obviously mention sauce station is chargeable and told us to go get sauces, so ee thought it was included or free. Can be quite misleading. Soup taste normal, nothing special. Worth 1st visit to try, but no more 2nd time.

Went there for the second time cos we enjoyed the food. The waitress was friendly and took time to explain to us on the benefits on signup for membership.
