Love this place for their charcoal grilled unagi and it‘s great if you want to escape from the crowds at Man Man or other more busy places. You can still enjoy the high quality unagi in peace and with no hassle.
Delicious food and value for money with 1 for 1
Good quality food and service standard. Unagi super fresh and yummy.
The eel is well fone. The food overall was a good experience. Outdoor seating will not endure rain so its not ideal. Good service staff.
The environment is nice and the most important thing there the unagi is nice. it is affordable and delicious.
Unagi is very tasty. Squid with ink sauce is good. prompt service !!
Great service and as the restaurant was not very crowded, the ambience was good.
The ambience was nice and warm with the unagi tasting good
Food quality is good. Service can be better. The more elderly female wait staff doesn’t know the menu well. Often need to check with others. Ambience is good though the music volume is too loud, at times making conversation difficult.
Great value for money! Nice ambiance. Highly recommended for good unagi :)
Decided not to have their signature but dearly priced unagi meals, opting instead of the grilled squid with multigrain rice. Crunchy squid that's nicely cooked, with a hint of charred tail end pieces. Oishii and rather filling lunch. An ordinary eatery I must say, unlike their cousin at Robertson Quay which has a nice ambience. Impersonal service by waiting staff, though their cashier was friendly.
Very kind and nice staff. Food and beer are both great
Ordered the full Unajyu set when I visited. The portion was very generous and the unagi was nicely grilled. (Diners with small appetites might want to consider getting the half set.) I love the slight bitterness from the charred parts as it complements the sweet marinade well. The clear soup was flavourful as well.
