Mookata is ubiquitous in Singapore, but unfortunately high quality mookata is not. Thankfully, Tropic Twilight is one place where you can be sure of getting the best mookata possible, because their steamy broths and glistening grills are only kissed by fresh, premium quality ingredients. The emphasis on good ingredients pays off, and the mookata you and your friends or family can enjoy here is bound to be a meal you won’t forget for a while. The beauty of mookata, of course, is that you can take it any which way you like, so whether you’re hankering for pork belly and marinated chicken or vermicelli and fresh Asian cabbage, chunky fresh prawns or silky tofu, Tropic Twilight offer it all in abundance. Found on Ulu Pandan Road near Clementi MRT, Tropic Twilight is easy to reach from all over Singapore, so it’s good for large groups and special events – though we strongly recommend booking a table in advance, because things can get as busy here as they do delicious.
Hidden away from public view, Tropic Twilight was a chance discovery that proved to be a treat. It's a no frills eatery reminiscent of school canteen, but food was tasty and value for money. On the beverage front, however, they had run out home made barley and could only offer canned drinks or tea.
