One of our favourite restaurants. Really good value for money.
We like the dishes and it was a nice family dinner.
Selection of dishes are good and service excellent. A hidden gem tucked in the university campus at Kent Ridge.
The hor-fang is good and recommended. Vegetables is not too oily and also the pork ribs are well cooked.
Peking duck and fish maw soup was good. Steam soon hock was also well done. Will definitely be back again
Good food, nice ambience. Service is good too but be sure to make reservation in advanced to avoid disappointment.
Good foods, reasonable services and not so crowd now, it’s good
Fantastic dim sum brunch, excellent service and food. Try the roast pork it’s good!
Excellent dim sum brunch with an amazing level of service. Highly recommended.
The ambient is good and the food tastes well too!
Have been there many times. Love the Tim sum and peking duck, worth every cents esp during promotion.
Excellent place for dim sum brunch. Highly recommended and a must try.
Tasty Chinese food (fish maw soup, Peking duck, etc) & good services.
The weekend dim sum brunch is excellent as always. A must try is the Peking Duck!
I love the Peking duck and Wasabi prawns. My children love the red velvet cake. Service at The Scholar is always pleasant.
Excellent weekend brunch venue. The dim sum served during the weekend brunch is brilliant.
The Scholar has improved substantially from severla months back. In particular, the offering gave much more value for money than many months back, where I was left wondering if it was worth the money paid for the food served. Our recent dining showed good cooking, variety, and more value for money, eg 10 head abalone. Service was prompt and efficient and courteous. Give your people a pat on the back!.
Excellent service and food for the weekend dim sum brunch. Generous portions.
Dim sum was acceptable. not fantastic but worth the money
Excellent service as always. Highly recommended to try the weekend dim sum brunch.
A quiet, nice & clean place for family dinner. There are a wide variety of tasty Chinese dishes to choose from.
The food and service is nice. Also, the restaurant ambience and environment is comfortable.
Very good service and food! Also, the ambience is nice and comfortable.
The weekend dim sum brunch is excellent with generous portions. Please book in advance as seats run out often.
Good food. Staff was friendly and service was fairly fast.
Excellent Peking duck and herbal soup prawn. The ingredients are fresh and service is good and fast. However the restaurant is cold, best to bring sweaters for kids and old folks.
DISHES CAME A LITTLE TOO QUICKLY. OVERALL DINNER IS GOOD.
Excellent service staff. Efficient service and friendly ! Good social distancing between tables in the function room
Food and Service was good as usual. Tim Sum items good same for ala carte items. Peking Duck was good too
Excellent service and food. The weekend dim sum is excellent and highly recommended.
Service was lacking compared to the previous times I visited, could be attributed to the crowd. Food was great as always. This restaurant has never disappointed with the quality of cooking and food.
nice food and quick service, portions size very nice for sharing
Excellent service as always. Highly recommended as business dinner location during this time. Not too crowded at all.
Always a value for money restaurant! Go when there’s the Peking duck promotion - great deal!
Excellent dining in experience. The portions here are always generous. Highly recommended place for a high quality Chinese meal.
Food was nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, they could have followed the conventional way of cooking the Peking Duck in whole, in stead of just the skin. Table cloth is sometime too long that it reached the floor and easily stepped on, so I had to be very careful.
The food at Scholar is always value for money. I like the ambience of the place.
Very good atmosphere and food especially the lobster rice noodles
Excellent food and ambience. I had my Sunday din sum here with my family.
The standard of the food has dropped. Watsami prawns taste wield. Coffe pork ribs also not as good as last time.
