Must try: Mushroom dashi risotto, French toast and house special coffee!

Small selection in the menu, but food was on point. Service was great too. The cafe had a homely, quiet atmosphere that made it easy to talk.

The famed dashi risotto was a good change from my usual risottos and the older adults loved it too. The cafe was very accommodating for a birthday celebration (cake cutting) and very patient with our orders. The truffle fries was a nice touch, and everything looks very appetising - the taste did not disappoint, too. Love the iced sea salt chocolate!

Very friendly service - staff made sure our water is always filled, orders are taken promptly, food is served quickly too. Great food, and nice ambience to chill and relax

Great ambience, delicious food, good coffee, earnest service. But they were woefully understaffed and the food portions were small. Would I go back again? Yes, but at a non-peak time.

Extremely friendly service and great food, the spam fries and squid ink risotto are delicious and all at affordable prices. Sometimes it get rather crowded in the evenings.

Amazing food and amazing service!! Risotto was very filling, with hints of bacon and a mellow, comforting mushroom taste. the sous vide egg was a great touch as well. they say you can tell how good a restaurant is based on how they do their chicken, and their chicken was great. tasty and moist, I would highly recommend it. Service was highly attentive and personal, with truffle fries on the house and nice conversations:) All of us live in the west, and even if Laneway Market is located in the east, we will definitely return (yes, we love this place)

tried their best but operations at peak times needs fine-tuning. They got 3 of 4 orders wrong and served both mains cold. pity as the food seemed decent

Nice and cozy place for a night out with friends. Great service and great food. Especially love the truffle fries served. Recommended for a visit anytime!

Ordered the Laneway Market breakfast. Very disappointing, inedible uncooked eggs, cold plate of food!

Nice quaint little cafe. Good coffee, dashi risotto is nice too. Do note that they close on Monday afternoons at 3pm.

Scrambled eggs, truffle fries and miso aglio olio were all served lukewarm which was very disappointing although the flavours were palatable. The dishes presented seemed achievable at home. There was a billing error which was quickly rectified. Average experience but will not return.

Friendly staff and friendly prices. Food was decent for the price and decor was nice. Staff was attentive in refilling water. Didn't like the long black though. Won't order it again.
