Teppan Kappou Kenji

I love their salt chicken lunch deal set. my friends who ordered the garlic set didn't like it though.

Came back for the US Angus teppan beef set meal - not disappointed with the tender meat served :) However, service was rushed as they try to manage the rowdy lunch crowd, so it's much less attentive than my first visit. Overall still a decent place for a quick lunch in the CBD :) A bit on the pricey side though.

The Japanese lady is friendly and honest, food is authentic and delicious.

Tasty teppan style set lunch; value for money. Would be back to try their premium items :)

Miyazaki beef overdone (never asked for preferred doneness), oysters also overcooked, lamb chop was mushy, scallops were underseasoned. The teppan chef was flustered, distracted and overwhelmed by the flood of orders so that contributed to the poor quality of cooking. There was also no flair at all as one would expect a show of performance/presentation in front of the teppan counter. Finally, the jpassport one-for-one steak promotion is very misleading, it should be made much clearer that it applies only to ONE dish/order. Overall, very disappointing meal.

Food quality was great for value. Portions were a little smaller than expected but no complaints. Service was shoet handed so we had to ask serval times for our hot tea to be refilled as well as out edamame coming out later than our mains! Will Probably come back but hope they get more help in the halls.

Fantastic service from the lady boss, food was beautifully presented and they accommodated my request to substitute the meat for seafood. It was also not very crowded so it was a great time

This is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants around. Great and attentive service, awesome food with nice presentation and good for small gathering! The A5 and A4 rank beef and sashimi dishes are a must to order. Cha soba is one of the freshest I have tasted in singapore.

Good value for money. Must try the beef garlic rice. Sashimi was great! Everything is so fresh. Lovingly prepared. Very good service from the familiar faces of Takumi.
